Interesting. I'll be sure to do diligent research as to the internal differences between the M600 vs M600s. If the differences vary beyond the standard planetary gear, clutch etc, then sourcing aftermarket components to keep the motors going could become tricky. Although, this motor could be sold with warranty which could alleviate that concern for some. Nevertheless, epic video. Keep up the vids 👍🏿

I have a carbon emtb with the M600 with a 2000 watt controller. I am loving it. Of course I live in the US so there is no problem with it.

What order would you place each motor according to how controllable the motor is? Specialized 2.2, Specialized SL 1.1, Shimano EP8, Bosch CX, Yamaha PW-X3, Shimano EP-8 LIght. Thanks.

A lower power motor will usually be easier to control. So I've talked about "power to control ratio" a few times. Which motor can output the most power while still being easy to control. I haven't tested the EP8-RS yet. The Specialized SL 1.1 is for the most part easy to control, but riding it in everything at max and it isn't that easy to control actually. I haven't ridden the PW-X3, but the EP8 and PW-X2 have the best power to control ratio of those motors.

Nice been looking for a decent M600 Vs S comparison and it's decent too thanks 🙏

Look into the LUNA CYCLE X2 Ludicrous V2 M600 motor with power output of 2500 hit speeds of 45MPH, then dial it down for legal riding on trails.

I am thinking exact same thing all the motors vary between which ones are more cadence based and which ones are more torque based at low and high RPM. Which ones are easier to get started on from a stop and slow speed control. I know there are several aftermarket controllers for the M 600 that change many characteristics as well. I have the Bafang G510 with aftermarket Innotrace controller. Things like ramp up control however the developer said they are working on getting more variables Great review as always.

Doesn't sound like you are utilizing the pedal assist setting and gear selection to get the cadence and speed you want.
@EMTBVideos2 жыл бұрын
It doesn't matter what gear you're in, the motor will want to spin up to it's native rpm, depending on the battery voltage. 110 rpm on the cranks is the same regardless of which gear you're in. This motor will behave this way in all assistance levels. But dropping the assistance can prevent the motor from reaching the optimum rpm, when going uphill for instance. Down side is it will be quite inefficient and draw a lot of battery.
