Did you test range on each of the motors? Curious how they compare.

I'm glad I found your video, for me is very representative. I'm curious also about Yamaha PW-X in same tests, also autonomy is something I consider and did not find anything clearly on topic. What about pedaling without assistance, any thoughts? Thanks for the video!

Hey thanks for your work and the great review. Did you do a comparison in assisted range? Another reviewer stated that Bosh is 50% more efficient than Yamaha. I think it would be interesting to include that criteria into the reviews.

@@EMTBVideos Thanks Knut. They just tested the range with the same battery on the same track. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gqmkf39pqLuYqdU

I love my e8000 sound, and I have it derestricted to do 40kmh of assistance and never notice the on/off problem. I will like to see the new bosch 2020 engines and how they preforme

Ola Nordmann I’m thinking about deristricting mine but worried in case I can’t get another motor if anything goes wrong.

@@rw7269 I know right, that is just the risk u got to take, but I think going 40kmh and let motor cut is nice. this site sells motors www.bikeinn.com/sykkel/shimano-steps-e8000-motor-city/137233048/p?id_producte=9070134&country=no&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI19_tluqC5QIVVouyCh2iCAnREAYYBCABEgIpLvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Is the Shimano Steps DU-E8000 the same as the E8000
@EMTBVideos Жыл бұрын
Yeah, DU-E8000 is the full name. It's usually just referred to as the E8000.

Best is Bosch CX due to almost unkillable. On other test ride uphill for 1km won all challenges. Also has 12V output for lights when ither one has just 6V. Shimano Steps doesnt have torque sensor. THATS SHAME . Thats why Bosch motor can be little choopy because it depends on power of your leg, not just simple pedaling, lol

You should test the Brose S motor, little if any noise, more torque then the other three, Tak

do you know which motor eats less akku
@chriskros88586 жыл бұрын
25 kph assistance limit is very stupid regulation works only uphill so it is not for the safety. The tesult is prople ob normsl bijes csn go 30 -35 on flat roads and e-bije owners are not able go fastet than 25 due to machine's weight. So it is vettet to make own conversion for non limited and more powerful bike and it is cheaper.
