Set up a trail cam near the nest. Would make some fascinating watching. Does Goldie need extra food/nutrition laying all these eggs?

Nugget is the one who's going to need extra food and nutrients. Once the male sits on the nest; he doesn't get up for any reason until the eggs hatch. According to what I've read we're talking 60 days! The male loses weight during that time - it's a 2-month fast.

He knew enough to mate with her, he will know enough when to sit on them! He will sit when she is finished laying, then you must bring food to him, because he won't get up until they hatch! ❤

If you move Loretta & Gus to a larger pen, you're gonna need to put GPS trackers on their dishes! The upholstery is _perfect!_ i'd be really proud that he kept some of the original vinyl. Kind of ties it to its history. I've got an '86 Chevy step-side that i having work done on, (heavy auto mechanics not my strong suit) and i have whoever does the work date & sign the underside of the hood.

We had a 70s VW bus 4 speed standard in the early 90s with Porche engine (don't recall all, bought used). Was so fun in the deep snow. Engine weight over rear drive wheels it would power through through the a worst like a snowmobile. Dress warm though. No radiator = no heat. We put a little convection propane heater in but still cold compared to a regular rig.

Jason those emu eggs are so beautiful the colors of nature are so awesome to behold. I know that your wife said she's not into art and crafts but I think she's a natural. once you know for sure that the eggs aren't good to hatched. See if you can drill a small litter hole in it and drain it to dry it out. If you can do more than one, at least 3 they will be a beautiful presentation inside a bowl on a mantle or one of your tables .❤

I love the new covering on the Benaway’s. Too bad someone local doesn’t want to try and hatch at least one Emu egg. I love the spring flowers! There is a couple of places out in the country near my sisters that have daffodil’ not only in their yard but scattered (multplied over the years) through the woods. It is absolutely breathtaking! One of my favorite flowers are the Daffodils because it reminds me that spring is right around the corner when I use to live up in New England years ago and they still are one of my favorites. My other favorites are the Gerbra daisy, the Velvet Sunflowers (the oranges to chocolate petals) and the Dahlia's. So sweet to see your Daffodils in bloom. Goldie's egg colors are gorgeous, I have never seen that color before!! Loving the seats in the VW van they are pretty and they color combo totally awesome!

VW's are easy to pull the engines. Only a few bolts and wiring, and with a floor jack, you can have it out pretty quick. Take pictures of everything you take loose, or remove, take pics of the wiring, even label it with painters tape. Pull the engine, pull the old tank and replace it. As cheap as they are, it will keep you from break downs and headaches later.
