EMU TEAK REVIEW. A pretty closed-back on a budget.

Easily the best review of Emu teak I have seen, they have been out for years but this is the first review which has done justice to these. Another pairing I might suggest is Mojo 2 with the new EQ feature. Increase 125hz by 1db, drop 3k by 3db and same at 20k. This helps a lot with those peaks at 6k, still V shaped but becomes more tolerable for little longer It also pairs well with tubes but since it has such low impedence won’t be a great match for OTLs

Thank you, it’s greatly appreciated they are so freaking beautiful, the perfect stopgap if you want would headphones before VCLOL And as we all know closed headphones are extraordinarily difficult to make and they’re very rare I will revisit these when schedule is a little bit quieter

No LOL compared to VC and LCDXC et cetera it’s a budget, I think they’re around 5 to 700 I actually don’t know what they go for these days

For closed back headphones it is, because most of them are good awful very difficult to get right Most of the time we don’t review anything below 2000 on this channel as a rule anyways compare to those it’s a serious budget LOL Trying to bring a lot more things in under 1000 for a wider audience
