It’s much easier and faster playlist management than RetroArch, and you can make custom playlists in a very pleasant fast easy way. (OpenEmu playlists are basically similar to the way old iTunes was like 15 years ago.)

Wow, that Metal build of Cemu changes everything. Been playing BOTW for the first time with zero compilation stutters. Turning on Metal and Async shader compile has the game running buttery smooth. I'm running the game on my 34-inch (3440x1400) ultrawide with the ultrawide hack turned on and getting around 45-55 fps.

Andrew, you mentioned that macos sequoia supports AVX instructions now. Is this by default? Helldivers 2 when attempting to run through crossover says that the CPU is not compatible with AVX instructions. Do I need to do anything more to get it to work or is it an issue with the game or anti cheat software itself?

Crossover doesn't support it by default yet. Enable AVX support by pasting "ROSETTA_ADVERTISE_AVX" = "1" into the cxbottle.conf.

PCSX2 has had more improvements since AetherSX2 was abandoned. And PCSX2 is working on porting itself over to ARM. It's currently incomplete (you're still better off running PCSX2 through Rosetta) but it is being worked on.
