Where can I find a kind of block diagram where all kind of polymerization is described? DO you have a link or video where you explain this? Btw I forgot to say you explained it very well! very nice animations as well! Great work thanks!

Thank you for your comment. I think it is a good idea, we will try to make a video on the block diagram.

Mam what temperature is required for that process like pmma pvc
@PolymerWorld5 жыл бұрын
For PMMA synthesis temperature depends on type of initiator, polymerization initiated by thermal initiators requires high temperature (70-90 ℃) and a redox initiation system requires low temperature (30-40 ℃). For PVC synthesis (suspension polymerization) temperature range is 40-60 ℃.

Wanna ask something, there are side reactions of emulsion polimezation? If yes, what kind of compounds?

I have a question about emulsion polymerization. How can ı seperate solid polymer from liquid mixture which contains water polymer surfactants and initiator. Firstly evaporation and then drying process is logical to obtain solid polymer? Pls answer. Btw thank you for all these infos.

Centrifugation, precipitation, decantation is used to separate emulsion. e.g. to separate polystyrene from emulsion, it can be precipitated in solvents like alcohols, water will mix with alcohol separating polystyrene. In centrifuge the heavier liquid will reach the bottom first and stay there, while the lighter of the two will remain in a layer on the top.

At 0:34 you said Emulsifier or surfactant. At 1:57 you said The emulsifying agent is added which disperses surfactant in water. Is emulsifying agent a surfactant or it is used to disperse surfactant?
