Hello. Nice video. Did you have to do any modifications to make the slide cycle? Or was it a drop in fit?

it's a drop-in fit. The later Guarder slides were improved over the years. The older ones are having fitting issue still.

I also bought the guarder outer barrel for it but I don't know how to fit the hop up unit and inner barrel in, it's too tight to fit it in, not like the original plastic one.

Now i have GD steel outer barrel too. It is indeed hard to install but it will finally fit it. I'll do the installation video if you need.

If I change to Alu or steel slide, what other things do I need to change for it to work? Apart from outer barrel and recoil spring

You only need a slide and recoil spring to make it work properly, hence outer barrel is optional.

The bbu is the same but they change hop up chamber and recoil guide rod a bit.

How did you take out the Blowback housing unit and put it in the new slide?

there's a screw that lock bbu, slide and rear sight together, unscrew it then slide down the slide back plate a bit before taking the whole unit off the slide.

hey! i just recently got this gun and i've been wanting to add some accessories like sights and a flashlight like yours onto mine but I have no idea where to start. any tips you can give me?

RS or replica, any flash light will fit the gun cos it's universal, it's up to your preference, mine is surefire x300u. sights must be for airsoft glock, the sights for actual gun will not fit airsoft ver.

@@ouchhhhhh8682 อลูไม่ต่างจากพลาสติกเดิมครับ น้ำหนักต่างกันประมาณ 30-40 กร้ม ผมชอบสตีลมากกว่า หนักกว่าเดิมประมาณ 160 กรัมหรือเกือบสองขีด รู้สึกแตกต่างอย่างเห็นได้ชัด แรงรีคอยหนักหน่วงกว่าเดิมอย่างเทียบไม่ติด ด้วยนัำหนักที่มากขึ้นย่อมส่งผลกับการ cycle ครับ ดังนั้นเราจำเป็นต้องเปลี่ยนรีคอยสปริงให้แข็งขึ้นครับ ของสตีลสปริงจะอยู่ที่ 170-200% ครับ ส่วนอลูอยู่ที่ 120-150% ครับ

Hi can you comment on the efficiency of using this Aluminum slide with the newer 15mm TM bbu? I have the standard and I'm honestly worried it will explode using green gas, the slide is just too light and fast

it won't be a problem with slide and outer barrel if you're using aluminum kit(alu or steel outer barrel). The problem will most likely on your hop unit. The steel slide will not cause any issues.

The slide is for tm 17 gen 4 only so mine was tm -7 gen4
