another inconsistent moment is in What Else Can I Do when jacarandá is pronounced _ja_ ca _la_ nda when the correct pronunciation ha-ca-ran-da (ハカランダ) which should be perfectly pronouncable in the japanese... one of the few spanish words in encanto thats easy in the language actually. i thought they would get that one right

The Japanese l/r sounds are interchangeable. It's why Japanese accents often confuse the two sounds in English.
