Oh, I hear you! I relocated from the mountains of Virginia to Southwest Florida a year and a half ago, and I have struggled with the lack of winter and autumn. It's summer all year here, which some people love--but I didn't realize how strongly my spiritual practice and entire worldview are tied to the cycle of the four seasons. I hope you will be able to find new magic and beauties where you are now.

I’m watching this hoping that the snow and 70 km winds don’t down the power lines again. I heat my kitchen with wood all winter so I’m cosy this time of year. Thank you for the beautifully rendered video.

For me, winter is a terrible period that you just survive. Cold, depression, lack of sun, fog, greyness......if I could I would sleep through every day of winter. As a green witch, it's hard for me without my garden and life in nature. It's like as if everything was put on pause. But this year I decided to find at least one positive thing in all of that and it's a little easier that way. I understand that Nature needs rest, just like me, and that there is no spring without winter. I decided to try my grandmother's recipes, read books I never have time for, and use the cold to bond with my family. So videos like this are great for me, especially on a gloomy day like this. Thanks from 💚

I miss real winters, and snow. I miss having four seasons in general - but I'm happiest in autumn and winter. Living in Florida makes it hard to get into the spirit of the season (we're still running our air conditioning lol). I do try though, by bringing as much "autumn" and "winter" into the house as possible through my seasonal altar and other decor. Thank you for sharing 🙂❤

Hello! I'm new to your channel, and I have a few questions. You don't have to answer if you don't want, but I'm kind of curious about some things. :) 1) I've heard about people who are Earth-Centered. Is that the same as what you do? 2) Do you have any tips for young/beginner witches? And do you have to be a specific age to start learning spells? You don't have to answer if you don't want, it's just that I haven't really found anyone else online that does legit spells 😅 have an amazing day!
@lucybranson49502 жыл бұрын
Hi, I know I’m not who you’re trying to reach out to but I thought that I could say some things that I learned about my craft. I’m fairly new, about a year, and I did have a little background in it before jumping in but no, you don’t have to be a certain age, as long as you’re aware of everything that you do. This channel has helped me grow so much. I started with mediations and intentions. I would whisper into my coffee or tea about what I wanted(my health to increase,etc) and drink with the intention that that will happen. I know people say don’t go on Pinterest to learn spells but it’s a perfect aesthetic😅. Throughout the day, I would listen to calming witchy music to help calm me ground. I think just finding a good grounding exercise would help a lot. Bonus if you do it in nature. I’m sorry if I was all over, I’m excited to tell someone about this 😂. Blessed be ❤

And for my baths, I reuse the little sachets that crystals, necklaces, etc come in and they work perfectly! I like the idea of an old sock. 😊 they also make biodegradable tea bags for witches who might want to make these ahead and have a few ready, with easy clean up! If you are struggling with mental illness, I suggest a purchase of those. They're on my "someday" list, because it is sometimes hard to get your tea strainer or sachet perfectly clean. You could designate a few sachets to specific ingredient blends - would be good for colored sachets. My wife and I both love baths and have mental health issues, I wanna make a few ahead for Low Spoons Days. 🙃 if you feel overwhelmed by the details somedays, it would be good to have a few in an airtight jar, so you could just drop one in as needed.

I so love this💚 this year I moved southward for the first time, and am having to contend with a winter that hardly warrants the name. With the days still bright, the temperatures still in the 50s and 60s (Fahrenheit, and like summer to what I’m used to), and no snow or rain to be seen I’m having a very difficult time associating this month with the strong comfort and joy I usually have this time of year. Seeing videos of holiday coziness and winter testing helps curb my longing🥰🌲❄️
