My first snake is my Enchi boy! Got him a few years ago from petco as a “fancy ball python” this was before i got into the reptiles and started going to shows. Hes an amazing snake and has been a great eater!

Hi chris curious if you could help me find out what kind of morph my ball python snake is? They told me she is a enchi fire but she doesnt quite look like the one in your video shes very yellow and bright and has a light head. When I think of enchi, I think of tiger stripes, or banding. I also think of that sort of gold powdered overlay they get.

Hets can make a difference even if you can't see them.

Is it true that if its a male maker it'll make a female if the baby isn't banana?

Any non-bananas will be half males and half females. The sex link only transfers along with the banana / coral glow gene.

Now that I'm watching this video, since my 'Tena is a champagne-enchi, I'm seeing the Mojave patterns on his back and I'm wondering if he might also have the Mojave gene in him. I could be wrong (genetics are funny that way), but man. Looking at him certainly raises some questions.

Enchi is a co-dom, you breed an Enchi to anything and half the babies come out Enchi.
