I found a safer way to make enchiladas, your way is dangerous!! ( been making them for 8 yrs getting salpicada and burned) well after seeing your abuela making them the same way I was not only smiling and laughing because she is original I'm not Mexican que se yo, her enchiladas were truly the way to make them. I was introduced to Abuela's channel thru my bestfriend with abuela's birria recipe. Sadly a year later my best friend passed away. She & i were always looking for recipes to share & feed our big families. And i would always call her when making birria to ask her if im doing it right. Now i use Abulitas video as reference and i always ask my self, well i ask my bestfriend girl am i doing this right. Lol i swear i can hear her laugh everytime and always some kinda sign appears that i am. Anyways, Thank you for sharing all these recipes. Im from Morelia Michoacan y pense q tambn se les ponian zanahoria, n papas hervidas y cortaditas en cuadritos.... pero se ve deliciosooooooo i wish i could make all of this, i been watching ur videos all day, haciendome la boca agua. I got married y me mude to Puerto Rico n they do NOT have any type of chiles just the jalapeño. No masa pa tortillas, no maiz pozolero. My parents are from Purepero too, and we always smear mayo on the enchiladas and the salsa my mom makes to put on top has pieces of carrots. It seems like it's the same salsa you abuelita made but without carrots. These enchiladas are my fave!

Quick Question, I know this is an older video but loved it and love your grandma :). I was taught to fry the tortilla first then dip into the sauce, the way your grandma makes this very unique. Will dipping in the sauce then fry bring a different flavor to the enchilada? Can't way to try these, thanks for sharing the recipe and your grandma.
