I remember this one time I was playing metal chomper (don’t ask) I saw a SQUASH just jumping around killing everyone in the zombie team in about 2 seconds.

faced a cheater today, was using citron and would basically insta-kill everything, even when they were full hp (got to learn this since he kept killing me while i was playing All-Star at 200 hp on multiple ocations) not to mention him bugging out the respawn timer

Yeah most cheaters tend to have some sort of insta kill ability/shot and seem to be able to mess with the match settings. Had a cheater that'd add and change crazy settings between matches, was pretty fun though. Barely seen any cheaters recently thankfully, might just be because of the influx of new players blocking them out though

Yeah lucaszombies is pretty annoying, ran into him once or twice, only real UP i can give him is that you can ACTUALLY KILL HIM, unlike someone like- gdyup i belive its their name, they actually just do the whole shenanigans (Kill everyone, become hunt bosses {who are also unkillable} and crash lobbies) Just know its better to leave than even endure even a minute of his bullshit if you find him

Funnily enough the next match had another cheater join, doing the whole goat instakill cheat shenanigans. I just left at that point but I didn't really mind in the case of this guy who was just kinda being goofy, I am aware that the cheaters have more power than the devs at this point though so I'm still keeping an eye out when it's hard cheating

i feel like some hackers shouldn't get banned simply because they're just goofing around as a boss the ones that need banned are the ones crashing lobbies and fighting the other team as a hunt boss it might be an advantage to be a boss but your still killable

I made a mod that just makes e citron do 999 damage and if I see a hacker I switch to e citron and target them all game but I'll also have to make a zombie version of it so I could target people hacking as plants too

I'm really not against this kind of 'cheating' tbh, as long as it's not used against legit players. But once there's another cheater in the lobby trying to ruin the game for others then it's purely just fair game

I normally only use mods to play characters such as freaking marigold ,hypnoshroom and the robot soldier, but playing like bosses is from my experience, not that annoying(sometimes, people can really sometimes just be assholes) its just depends on what the person wants to do, if they actuakly want to kill and sweat, that's kinda lame, but if you use mods to just goof around and you don't ruin everyone's experience, you good, sadly i have nevwr seen someone do that, just once when i met a guy who was plauing chomper in the zombie team and that's it

Tbh the anti cheat update was surprising considering how little priority it is for EA. But I doubt any anti cheat will help unless it's some kind of community made one at this point, sadly GW2 is far from as bad as it gets in other games though...

I do believe that there is "ethical" cheating. And I would consider this to be part of it. He's not viciously intrusive about it, clearly he's there for the funnies. If he wasn't he could also just start to aimbot & instakill everyone without remorse. Instead he's playing a Boss Character and messes around. Whilst its still cheating and you could consider it a disturbance / annoyance, justfully so, there's worse than that.

You're absolutely right in a sense of there being levels to the cheating tbh, especially in a case like this. However I am somewhat surprised that the common thoughts from a lot of these comments reflect that ideology, guess that's what happens when matches with real cheaters are basically a torture method.
