Encountering God Through Cancer (#1) - Inspiring Stories

The diagnosis of a tumour in her sinus cavities leads Jennifer Yeo physically to Houston, Texas for treatment of this rare and deadly cancer. Spiritually, it leads her to a deeper encounter with God. In asking God if indeed it was time for her to meet Him, her Maker, she realises that God wants us to talk to Him, to tell Him what indeed it is that we want. And to have the faith that it will be given.
But faith is a gift from God, so we need to ask for it. In this segment, Jennifer shares her testimony of how she found it in prayer and fasting, and feeding her spirit with His words.
Inspiring stories. From stories about being at the lowest point in life, to losing a child or a spouse to encounters with the God who made us and knows us. These are just a sampling of stories ‘new parables’ about how people have walked their journeys in life either with the Lord or finding him later as a result of the challenges they faced. Families and individuals have found the sometimes subtle but recognisable workings of the Lord in their circumstances.
