If Anne was a freshman in 1983, she would be 28/29 years old in Trespasser. If she was a senior she'd be 32/33 years old. Minnie Driver herself was 28 years old when Trespasser released in 1998.

Fun fact: The raptor you shot by the pond at about 4:30 is the only one in the game to retain the "friendlier" settings that the designers originally planned for; you can walk past it and it won't attack you, because it's the only one in the game that isn't hungry. - Trespasser nerd since 2001

I second what Mario Lanzas said, a remake made today with something like Unreal 4 would be golden! The idea of Trespasser is literally MY kinda game that I’d expect out of this franchise, atmospheric survival horror in amongst InGen’s ruins. That T Rex encounter and realisation that it WAS a T Rex was so good! Great atmosphere! Reminded me of The Hunter: Primal, if you’ve heard of that game. That game has a lot to be desired, didn’t quite turn out the way I should’ve and the devs eventually abandoned it in an unfinished way, but it has hands down THE coolest looking raptors I’ve ever seen in a dinosaur game, or at least dino hunting game. If you love feathered dinos, that game is a must, Klayton.

"Keep absolutely still..... it's visions based on movement...." We finally come across our first of the seven T-Rex of Sorna! That's actually something from Trespasser I added to my own JP head canon (events one individual chooses to regard canon), the whole "seven rulers of the island" thing. If my information is correct, you were supposed to encounter a T-Rex earlier, in a scrapped level, I think it was called "plantation house" or something. Even though it was scrapped, that old abounded house and beach from The Lost World were originally part of that level, however they were merged with the Jungle Road level that made it into the final game
@ScanovatheCarnotaurus5 жыл бұрын
it was actually supposed to be between the 4th and 5th level, but yeah, a rex was meant to be in that level hence why one only encounters 6 in the game and not 7

And here’s Ann, the soul survivor of a plane crash; totally unprepared, and she seems to be doing much better than they did!

I'm rewatching this playthrough atm and it just occurred to me that the area you found at the end of this video seems like a cross between the two raptor nests from the novels. Wow. How come a video game makes me so anxoius. I am dying on my current game because I am watching this on my other monitor. I think we never saw the nest from the raptors in the lost world. They were in the tall grass which could of been thier hunting grounds rather than thier nests. Also you seen the raptor nest in a canyon. At the end of the tall grass was a cliff or very steep hill so it is possible. I had no idea that Mamenchisaurus was in the Lost World in the chase scene but now I remember it and after playing Evolution and researching the animal online it makes sense. I thought it was a brachiasaurus for years. New info from Klayton. :D

I'm not sure if they moved the nest to the canyon in this level, as it was a swamp in earlier versions. But there is (another?) raptor nest in the cut Pine Valley level. It's a real boneyard as well.
