brush your teeth 30 minutes after because there is acid in your saliva to help your stomach to breakdown the food. if you brush your teeth right away the tooth brush, toothpaste, and acid will brush away the enamel on your teeth.

I’m from the United States. I have a lot of admiration and respect for China, I think if average American people could see what China was really like instead of having the media drum up hatred and war mongering, then we could perhaps learn a lot from one another, and make the world a much more safe and prosperous place. Love to China from an American college student 🇺🇸❤️🇨🇳

You are one of many foreigners that understand and know KZbin's China. This video will definitely play a small part in information the positive aspects of China, it does help to clear the wrong and distorted view of China. She is changing everyday and it is good for the world in general. We need world peace with truthful information and a lot of common sense.

Harold Sullivan, l just read your message,Today date,22/2/10monday. To me you one of many enlighten one, unfortunately, this unique situation will not be reexamine or rectified or amended or explained or proclaimed as the truth and real situation in China, the CCP is not we perceived in Western contexts, there are English, German and even New Zealanders and Australian who had lived in China separated in distance of miles, yet their enjoy peaceful and happy lifestyles never experienced in their motherlands, some even married to Chinese and have Children. CCP was and is NOT the monster, or dictator or killing machine or shoot to kill or no justices organisation. Remember any countries or reputable, law obedience nations will not even allow China to exist, she will be thrown into dungeon of fire and curse by billions. China is recognised by 180 nations is that not proved that she is s normal, respectful nations?

@@edwardhochwand9063 this is new to me for not seeking the truth and obviously truth will give us so much confidence and as cool aid. Politicians will play no part in you tube as their priorities are opposite and different from us, lay people. No matter what situation, US politicians will distort what ever videos had created. Devil in disguise is say not for the seek of saying. All politicians have their plans set by party leaders, as such it is impossible for the truth to be communicated as honestly as possible, such that we have no choice s but to double or triple checks for the truth. However, the good news are that eventually You Tube will prevail.

What I love about these interactions with strangers is that you might be the only foreigner many of these people ever meet. They want so badly to ask you questions and are sad they can't speak English. Then BOOM! You speak Chinese. Now they can have a real conversation with someone from around the world. That's an experience so few people in the world ever get to enjoy.

Amazing video. Really feels like China is one of those country where you can travel freely in the countryside without any worries and meet awesome people. Moreover, even though you are from the US, no Chinese were hostile to you (or at least you didn't show them). I'm not sure if the same could be said if a Chinese was visiting the US countryside.

Wow, awesome. Got goose bumps of nostalgia watching this one. 20 years ago, I rode a one-speed Shanghai Yongjiu bike from Chengdu to Wawushan (瓦屋山), in area of Ya'an. Got pulled over by the police to say hi. Had never seen a foreigner. Was invited to dinner at a toll station as I was passing through. Had a nice old man find me a hotel room after I'd ridden a bike for like 9 hours. Was so exhausted. But went out for some dog meat dinner. That was was most places in that town had. Also did another four day trip south from Chengdu through 彭山 to 峨眉山 then to 乐山 and back to Chengdu. This also cut across your route. at the time, it was much dirtier and less organlized looking, but still beautiful and friendly and helpful people. Looks like development hasn't ruined it. Very happy to see it still looks very inviting! Love it in rural China. Really like rural life in the West. Not familiar with the East so much, but your place looks nice. Enjoy your dream!

@@kats_journey_east China is always awesome to explore. Back then Chengdu's third ring road was close to what I’d call a forest with traders from outside the city setting up makeshift markets on rugs/sheets on the median. Inside the second ring road, the city was quite developed, many sky scrapers, bicycles, buses, mopeds, and VW Santanas, but no subway. Air was polluted. Summer sun was a yellowing orange dot in a yellow gray sky and every night I had to clean black from my nose. Nowadays, I hear it is quite modern and clean. Good for Chengdu! Second bike trip was during SARS. Arrived in Emei only to be quarantined and then sneak away to climb Emei mountain for a couple days. Back then, I road on the main roads. Places like 新津, 眉山,and 峨眉山市had bicycle lanes, but in between it was mostly mean and 东风trucks。 Been to China 19 times now. Cannot wait until next time. Hopefully can go for New Years and then take my wife to 张家界 or somewhere else pretty in central or SW China. BTW, your Chinese quiet good. Know your HSK level?

You have such a kind heart Katherine. You saved, or rather pushed him away from more immediate dangers with high potential to end his life, that lucky small mantis who met a human like you, and in some other episodes you showed sympathy for other life forms too. Such kindness will bring you good luck in this phase and future phases of life. While I wish I could travel, see, and experience much of China but cannot, at least not at the moment, I thank you for sharing much of your life and travelling in China and this is another very comfortable trip of yours to watch. Everything on Earth has a counterpart deity 神。Door deity. Stove deity. Tree deity. Turnip deity. Potato deity. Fox deity. Crab deity ... This culture also existed in Japan (Shinto神道) - watch Spirited Away to understand it more. Great video. You’d be a great anthropologist specializing in environmental toxicology - that is, someone who studies how cultures and traditions affect the way the environment is understood and cared for. The pace of modernization shown in your videos is just dizzying!

I came here for an electric toothbrush commercial and karaoke singing, but somehow, an insightful two day bike tour of China broke out. You can’t ever get away from politics can you?!? I wonder if you ever have hesitation before you attest that you are from the US, lol. You must know what is about to come. Nonetheless , the exchanges with the locals are priceless. They provide great discourse and humour. Keep up your great tours. I love you!!!

Such an adventure seeker. 😊 Thanks for taking us on another scenic journey through the backcountry roads.🚲👍 Metropolitan Chengdu has expanded immensely since my first visit in 2006. The metro system was under construction at the time. Does the metro line extend to Qionglai?😱

That metro station I passed was in xinjin district , halfway to Qionglai . Maybe in a few years it will get all the way to Qionglai 🤣🤣 it just keeps growing like crazy and it’s all just been in the past decade

@@kats_journey_east Regardless this is well beyond City limits into County jurisdiction. I had no idea the metro lines extend that far out. Is the second airport in operation now? Curious to know how that M-teeth compares to Oral-B or Phillips Sonic other than the exceptional battery life.

@@hz240 I didn’t know the second airport was new , there have been two airports in operation the whole time I’ve been here. Not sure how Mteeth compares to other brands in other aspects , I didn’t really use electric toothbrushes until a few months ago when mteeth sent me one for a collab on bilibili . I always hated electric toothbrushes Bc they make my teeth feel itchy Lol but the “sensitive” mode on this one is pretty good

@@kats_journey_east It is brand new opened in late June. Lookup Tianfu International. Previously only Shuangliu existed. No comparison in scale to Daxing Beijing though, but two major airports in Chengdu represents staggering growth.

Nice ride especially among the tea plantations. Glad you're commenting on the water quality of the streams and river. I keep wondering about the sewage treatment systems of the smaller areas if they're all small scale like the tannery. Thanks for taking us along. Cheers.
