Martenelli always plays well on the right wing. Remember the last game of 23-24 season when he played RW against Everton? He was outstanding!!! He is far better on the right than the left. He knows how to whip in excellent crosses with his right foot, something he CANNOT DO WITH HIS LEFT FOOT. Trossard is also better when he is given a run of games. Remember, he scored 5 goals in the last 8 games, of the 23-24 season, after ousting Martenelli from the LW position. Jesus has also found form. I trust Martenelli to continue to play well on the RW. Trossard, Jesus and Harvertz simply have to play their part in the other two positions. If they do, we will be okay.

I think Saka injury might be a blessing in disguise. We have become too predictable and the other players too reliant on Saka to get us out of trouble. Now, no more hiding behind Saka and players have to be counted. Plus, who are teams going to triple team to shut us down? Be prepared to see a lot of goals with central access... Exactly what I'm saying. We won't be lobsided, and our attack will be much more unpredictable. Arsenal never fed off individual brilliance when we went on that 15 game run last season, it was how we played as a team and we will see it happen without Saka.

Let us be honest, Nwaneri has been poor in his last 3 appearances for us. He is a young kid learning his trade. We overplayed Jack Wilshire so much at an early age, he was completely burnt out by the age of 21. Nwaneri's dip in form is both alarming and unsurprising. That is why managers gradually integrate young players into the team rather than throwing them in the deep end. It took Pep four years before he made Foden a first team regular. Man City fans and the know-it-all journalists kept on berating Pep for not playing Foden..... sounds familiar????

At this point it would help a lot if this manager stopped his Pep 2.0 system and over coaching and just said to his more creative players with movement...go and play football, express yourselves. Because let's be honest...Arteta's strategic tactical set up doesn't win Arsenal games on their own. Wenger let his teams express themselves and that helped with partnerships and chemistry. He brought players based on their footballing IQ and technique. I dunno what Arteta buys players based on. With all that said Arteta will do Arteta things......IE what's expected. The safest way to play taking no risks.
