Whats the difference in the 2 different baffles systems that are used. The old baffle designs vs the new designs

I wanted to try to run the .308 suppressor but from what it seems with the measurements I don’t think I’ll be able to with the Aero handguard. The inside diameter is 1.5” and these suppressors are 1.62”

I have ordered an AMTAC due to my favorite Suppressor is my OSS ( now HuxWrx ) OTB "Over The Barrel) Suppressor. Why ? Because it is a Very large ( 10 inch - 2 - piece ) Suppressor but it only adds ( 4 inch. ) to the overall length of my Rifle. So it actually feels my lighter than ALL of my other traditional "End of Barrel" suppressors. Obviously due to the cantilevered weight being at the very end of the Barrel. Not to mention the additional & ridiculous extra ( 6" ) length. which converts my full length AR into a seemingly ( 6ft long ) Confederate Musket length feeling. Why the OTB is not the industry standard is a true mystery. Obviously it must be due to the ability to fit only certain rifles with the available unobstructed exterior barrel length. ie ... shorter length gas systems & handguards. etc... but as far as i am concerned I will never buy another Non-OTB suppressor again. There is not need to anymore. Especially when dealing with the ( 5.56 ) partridge that relies on velocity / Barrel length to be effective. So with an OTB you can have a ( 16" ) barrel & suppressor combo. that equals the overall length of a much shorter barreled rifle with an end of the barrel suppressor. Why ?

Very interesting.

Make anything for an AR10 with a 16” barrel, with a rifle length gas system?

Would one of these designed for a mid-length gas system on a 16 inch barrel work if you have an A2 front sight post, or does it require a low-profile gas block like what’s on the rifle in the video?

on their site, their biggest 5.56 specific can goes OTB by 4 inches. as long as you have 4 inches behind the thread, should be fine

YOU GUYS NEED TO START 3D PRINTING YOUR BAFFLE SYSTEMS YOU CAN GET WAY MORE OUT OF THE REAL ESTATE WITH THAT NEW MANUFACTURING PROCESS. YOU GUYS ARE INTELLIGENT ENOUGH TO ADD A SINGLE SPOT WELD TO CHANGE THE TONALITY OF YOUR SUPPRESSORS, NOW ITS TIME TO STEP IT UP AND USE THE TOOLS AVAILABLE TO YOU. RESEARCH MICRO-STRUCTURES AND LATTICES FOR A STARTING POINT.

Is this direct thread or does it require muzzle device mount?
