The big one on Wilshire .. close to Fairfax has a homeless encampment next to it...We see them filling up their luggage and duffel bags with candy, chips, sodas, etc.. I was at San Dimas, California 99 Cents store at 10 this morning .Parking lot was full. Lots of merch in stock. I talked to many customers they were telling me any minute all items go on a lower discount price . Hey Mike! 🎆That was 🌴THE BEST 99 cent store in LA especially back in the day!🌴 I found name brand quality items at this store that were selling for $5 to $20 each at retail stores and these items were only 99 cents! I stocked up big time on these items! Back in the day this store would have huge boxes of clothes mens, womens and kids and every item was only 99 cents. Every time I saw these boxes in the stores I was looking through the entire huge box everything was just mixed together. I found some really cool vintage 1980s clothing in these boxes and still have some of the items to this day. The clothes looked like brand new and some of them still had the original manufacture hang tags on them.🎆

Who here remembers going to the 99 cent only store and purchasing a malty fruit flavored 6 pack of, “Bicycle Beer”, an audio cassette tape of Hulk Hogan singing, a 20 year old Live Aid t shirt, and a delicious chicken Kiev for dinner all for 5 bucks? Sorry to hear about the once mighty 99 cent only stores going under. I pray for all of those that are being affected by this and those that are struggling and pray that God richly bless you with wisdom and strength and for a way to provide for you in these difficult times. 🙏✝️

I left CA in 2016 and used to always shop at 99cent only. When I left CA everything was 99cents only, my new location did not have a 99cent only store close by. I was "shocked" to see their recent prices :)

Going to the 99 cent Only store, was like experiencing Christmas, every day of the year! No body was poor there! And everyone could afford to buy all their necessities and groceries. Times were good. But something happened, 4 years ago.
