What a waste. Hate that they are getting rid of the mall. Could have been a great place to revamp and renovate.

The mall never reached our expectations of it when first built. It always felt like an unused facility to me. However, I don't see why similar retail space can't be part of the new C-train station.

Whole mall went downhill after they shut down the arcade there in 2007.

Why close? If green line is build in this area .

Could have put the green line right through the mall. In Japan the green line goes straight through the Akihabara shopping complex, as a result it's the most successful retail location in the biggest city in the world. Proof that Calgary Liberal city officials don't care about a prosperous city, jobs or the bottom line.

I think the rail line and the shopping complex were built at the same time weren't they?
