I moved to Evanston in 2021. They are building schools quickly but still no High School, the new one in Country Hills does not serve Evanston. They’ve built another K-6 school and another Middle School has been approved. For a High School, I think we’ll have to wait for the one in Ambleton to be built. K-9 is not an issue, and if your child is able to drive themselves to school starting 10th grade, Diefenbacker is only 15-20 minutes away. Point is, make sure you plan many years ahead. If you don’t have kids yet, these new communities are probably a good fit. Schools should follow by the time your kids are ready. High School takes the longest to build, but that’s somewhat easier to figure out.
