Wow Suzanne … I really appreciate the sobering message! It really is about loss. The loss of something that never happened yet it sure felt like it happened!! It’s brutal and beautiful at the same time!! Crying and laughing at the same time. It truly is indescribable, but like you, it’s worth it!! Hell, there is nothing else!! I just love your expression .. the brutality of it confirms that the “me” has nothing to do with it!! I’m left without words, only left stripped down to the nothing that everything already is!! I remember back in school they used to tell us that the occasional forest fire is good for the forest because it clears out all the excess junk and makes it better for new plant in the future. The mind bounces around between liberation, sometimes extacy, deep peacefullness, to desperation, clinging and bondage and back again. The whole pallet of emotions and mind states. It is like a rolercoaster. Dont supress it. Do not denunciate the ego. Nonduality is a realisation, you just are. Seperate of all the fabrications and attachments of the mind.

I used to be excited to delve into the latest Eckhart or Mooji to practice this. Then I had my glimpse of awakening and it felt like bliss. Then mind came back and some stuff came up that had me terrified for months. I listen now and theirs still the residue of fear which I wonder if it’s in remembrance to this whole thing.

Since the benevolent algorithm deposited one of your videos in my imaginary world, it's been interesting and amusing to discover that *ego death* is sort of trending right now. It makes me curious about the future as for example psychedelic therapies are gaining legitimacy and traction. What if the recognition that suffering is a vast unbegotten misunderstanding became more normalized? On a practical level I imagine there would be more bandwidth available for addressing human problems and actualizing human values if fewer of us were constantly mesmerized by the mind's incessant storytelling. And it's fun to imagine cultural life becoming friendlier more liberated , spontaneous and vivid as the realization that freedom and eudaemonia are actually immediately available spreads. May it be so.

Lots of nun dualists say you the energy shift doesn't lead to just feeling peace all the time. In fact feelings can even be stronger of both pain and love. Understanding we are everything and nothing is not some "plan" we as the "I" made for ourselves. It's not some magic pill to feeling crap. Just some "bodies" characters self dissolves and some doesn't, and some only bits will. There are no rules and it's not some goal to reach that will bring "peace". Disappointment will be great for seekers who expect that I reckon

To be everything you need to be nothing how else can you be in all things? You are in all things but because you know yourself as a physical body we call human your feelings might be defining physicality through what your body is experiencing in your story. You might feel like a human can’t feel like what it is to be a rock because you are only feeling being a human. Also on the whole you are told you are a human not a rock so you a taught separateness. But being means being in all things your humanness is story so much story all of us are being story. Story has no end because life has the appetite for story. But you are a story of love non stop love. When you see the rock you think I don’t look like a rock so how can I be a rock in the same way you might not recognise you are a love beacon in life’s love story because of separateness. That’s why when you shed separateness you can be the nothing that is everything the Universal Love. Like the drop of ocean that holds the ocean inside it Universal Love is inside your moment by moment story. A moment can last how ever long you want it to as Time is story too
