Great video, mate. Love your take on the feeding part and totally agree. The Koi will know if they want eat or not. I watch mine and adjust the amount accordingly . 👍

Yes big man! I've seen people put the water lettuce in the inner ring of the nexus. They seem to thrive in there. Might be to do with the more concentrated amounts of dirtyer water around there? Less chance of them getting nibbles aswell lol

Interesting one this, on the feeding, I stop when it hits 8 or below,food wise like has been said,I would look for low protein,but more so, very low fat content. As they can't break it down when the water is cold, think of the fat in a pan when it cools? On scrapes and treatment going into winter, I always try to make sure they are as healthy as possible going in and give them the best chance of coming into spring with no issues. So big clean on all filters,shower as well and treat accordingly before it turns to cold. Have mine covered already to keep the last of the heat and keep the cold off for when it does turn. Leaves it that the temp doesn't plummet as it would without them on. Hopefully it keeps going the right direction 🤞👍

I put my new system on my pond about the same time as you restarted your pond and them little water lettuce are really helpful, but mine I have had to put in to a bag to stop the koi from eating them.
