Great job, looking at extending with a roofline that runs down the back wall of the house, pitched like yours does, for the remaining parts of the rear wall of the house that are now inside - did your builder do anything to limit heat loss and damp travelling down the wall from the top part that's outside ? . thanks

It happens to the best of us. Always have your wits about you. Good tip on finding out in advance average rate. Another tip ask the taxi driver what the fare would be in advance, haggle the fare in advance.

Just wanted to say well done for this, props to the filming, editing and presentation!

Worst food we ever had always cold and un-eatable. Lived on cold chips because we weren't touch cold meats and rices. Roomz smelt foisty and the staff didn't even know you existed. Spoilt our hiking holiday to La Palma... Great pizza place at the very top of the hill if you can drive. Hotel is very clean but food is wrank. No fresh water other than in reception miles away.

enjoy your hols videos. My pond is 13c so still feeding at least once a day. Covers are ready but not going on for a while yet. Hate this time of the year when the leaves drop. Good news that the fish are ok.

I use PP for Bath Treatment, it's 10 times better than Salt Kills everything Barr the Fish

PP is good treatment, only ever used in Bath Treatment and a wound dab ,I use the NTLABS Liquid not the Powder

I went through something similar 10 years or so ago! I now have a 400 gallon heated quarantine tank running an Eazypod. ALL new purchases go in there for2-3 months, get treated for the usual suspects and only get moved to the pond if no problems or issues exist at the end of the period! I feel it’s the only way to safeguard your existing collection and avoid the devastation you describe! We currently have 8 Koi in there, all purchased from well established reputable dealers (some top U.K. dealers) but they all go through the same process and won’t be going into the pond till the Spring. We have the tank up on the corner of our patio and find it has extended the hobby for us, making it a full 12 month activity, feeding and viewing them the whole year round! Can’t understand any Koi keeper not wanting to do something similar, but then it often takes a disaster to force us to take measures we knew were required!

Full cost, all in? Breakdown would be good too

One problem what about when your cooking food no doors to keep the smell in the kitchen your gonna be smelling it throughout the house 😂

My pond is 16 years old now and I have never covered it at any time. The filter system is dimensioned for handelling the leafs from the big oak hanging over it and thick ice on the top in winter prevents "windshill"😂😂
