Pansies have larger flowers, violas are smaller but have more flowers per plant. Violas are also more tolerant to heat and cold vs pansies. Pansies will slow flower production during these times and pick back up when favoured temps return.

@@growformegardening Well that’s what Jenny from Gardening with Creekside has been preaching every time she showcases these two plants. Figured I’d spread the knowledge. Not many of us knew the difference either.

I love your garden its so beautiful. Im in UK with a tiny garden compared to yours, but wanted more space for plants. i have taken up half my lawn and copied your gravel/stepping stones path in 2 areas with a flower bed in between, so with my other borders It gives me lots more space for more plants. Hydrangea and lots of perennials! I love watching your garden tours. ❤️🥰💐

You probably mean brown spot or blk spot leaf fungus. Not dangerous but needs to be treated. Here in South Texas we get that on our rose bushes and some other things because of our high humidity. They told me that our rose bushes had to many things growing around them and needed more air circulation . I will admit l did as suggested and it has made a tremendous change for the better. Love your channel. Had our first cool front here in Victoria and feels wonderful. Low 70s at night and low 90s in the day.😊😊❤

You two sure have done a beautiful job! Just gorgeous , and so nicely planned and maintained💚 So many of your plants and shrubs don’t seem to have ‘slept’ the first year as usual, do you fertilize? How on earth did you get a first year hydrangea to bloom and put on so much growth? I can only dream!😂 Thank you so much, can’t wait for Part 2!

Going to keep up with you guys next year to see how your Purple Pillar ROS performs. I had 5 if these PP lining my driveway but had to cut all down (then Roundup to kill off remaining stumps) in their fourth year because they grew so tall that they began to flop. Tried to maintain by trimming, but they just got too woody, so good luck with yours!

New subscriber here - LOVE your garden - WATERING TIP for faraway beds: I also have a retractable hose (120 feet!), and I use quick connect adapters to quickly and easily attach to drip irrigation tubes (either 1/2 inch or 1/4 inch) at far ends of my yard (the drip tubes will need a hose to tube adapter as well as the quick connect) - works brilliantly!!
