Long sleeves are always cooler in the summer. If the sun isn't hitting the skin. Every country that has a desert you never see them in short sleeves. Covered head to toe. Bus will make a nice b&b.

I will miss that "old yeller" school bus always sitting in the background but knowing that y'all have big plans for that space with exciting new adventures ahead. As some people would sing this Children English Rhyme, "The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round. The wheels on the bus go round and round, All through the town."

Now you have an outside kitchen instead of a boot room I loved living in my bus I lived in it for three years had it for longer but lived in it for 3 years on my property parked it alongside my tube Bay shop cut a hole right through the shop built the tunnel into the shop wood stove kept it really warm plus I had a little propane furnace in there too but the wood stove was what kept it took it hunting all the time in the winter loved it but always warm and it only held 8 inch wood mind your head insulation on the floor though I insulated the floor and all the windows that I took over insulated to and it had blow in foam in the sealant in between the two metal roofs

Don't feel bad Katie I was crying right there with you. It warmed my heart to see Greg comforting you. Some men don't understand how much woman devote themselves into making a dwelling into a home.Butv in sure Greg feels same, but being the manly man don't cry. Both of your blood sweat & tears went into that bus to make it a home. Tears & hugs are natural healthy way to end this chapter. I love you two so much. Thank you for sharing...

Me too. I could feel the sweetness of the home they created...the relationship that grew living in their bus-home. Fertile soil for growth that has been the foundation of their lives together and all they're creating. A good deal to be thankful for...and tears clinging to earlier times while they move forward in their journey. Sweet people creating 'home'.

It is tough to say goodbye to what was your home...all the adventures, all the trials and tribulations, all the love you made. But you are on to your new digs and you are continually improving your homestead. Nothing but respect, kudos, and accolades to the both of you!

Outstanding video you guys! The bus was home and the basis and glue that provided the foundation for you two to build your relationship, adventure and off grid home. While a poignant and stirrirg event of emotions, the passing of the bus off to friends will soon become something to take pride in as you look back acknowleging and celebrating your accomplishments and success to date. That is certainly something you can be very proud of and happy about Katie. The property is taking on a totally new look and vibe already with the little done in the video, it made a huge difference. Thanks for taking me along with you two on this adventure and a brief reflection on the past 5 years. You guys are awesome and I can't wait to see the next step as you build out and live your dream. Have a great week ahead and be safe. Larry in Ca.

As a young guy, I lived on a float house in the southeast alaska. So swimming in cold water wasn't a problem, once in and acclimated, it wasn't real bad yet no hours of swimming... more just to get the blood flowing. Greg, Katie, I have chatted with you kids now for a few years and I am now on hospice fighting for my life to stay out of the ground. I feel like I am freezing in a room that is in the sixties. Strictly warm water guy at almost seventy four. I can't swim anymore as my muscle turned to ugly something. The statement of use it or lose it is so very true. I can say that I feel loss when something significant leaves like a home for those precious years together. I hope the grass comes back soon and maybe the canadian lotto will get you running water. Hard work is not a stranger to the two of ya... best wishes
