I also read all of John Green books when I was about 16, and I was just discovering YA at the time so I loved them. So when I picked Turtles All the Way Down I was a bit scared for the same reasons you mentioned. But I’m glad to tell you I absolutely loved it and it’s definitely my favourite JG book now. I felt like it was very different from his other novels ! One thing I would warm you about is that the whole “mystery” in the book is really secondary to the plot and the book is much more focused on the character of Aza and how she deals with her OCD/Anxiety. The synopsis isn’t the best I think cause some people went into this book expecting a lot of investigating and what not and ultimately that’s no really what it about !

I hope you love Finnikin of the Rock! That series is one of my faves!! They do each follow different POVs but they all follow the same story line so definitely read them in order.

I just finished Turtles all the way down a few hours ago, it was pretty good. it was almost nostalgic to read a john green book again. Finnikin of the Rock is also fantastic, i hope you enjoy it! I've been told the series gets better with each book but the first was go great i don't know how that will happen.

turtles all the way down was amazing in my opinion and very relatable in the aspect of her anxiety.i read it in one day. John green books are just really easy and fast to rad in my opinion but your right about the characters in his past books lol

Out of the Easy is so, so good but it is set in the 50s, so if you are really hankering for a 20s novel, this won't satisfy that craving.
