Hey Vanessa!!! THANK YOU so much for the news about Riu Caribe!! That hotel definitely needed a refurbishing and I can't wait to stay there now. I used to stay next door at the Riu Palace Peninsula, but now I'll see how the "new" hotel looks! The Park Hyatt sounds nice too in Cabo, so next year is already looking good for my travels thanks to you! Keep up the great work as always....

Hi Vanessa!! I am so excited to hear about the new Park Hyatt in Los Cabos! That is great news. It’s also great news that the Riu Caribe has been refurbished. I have stayed next door at the Riu Palace Peninsula and the Caribe was really run down. The rooms at the Palace could also use a facelift. On another note, I have not been on a Virgin ship as of yet, but from everybody I’ve talked to, nobody has a negative thing to say but if you’re a pool person, it is extremely small, so just know that and you won’t be disappointed. That’s my two cents for this month! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!🎊 🎉🎆

I definitely recommend Virgin Voyages for an adult only cruise experience. It’s more expensive than you could get but the value is worth it. You normally get an included bar tab with cheaper bar prices, restaurant quality meals instead of a dining room, more modern entertainment and music and tips included without expectations for additional tips. The crew seems happier than other cruise lines too so you get excellent service. They do cruising differently and almost always better. Very few things weren’t as good or better with Virgin.

Thanks for another great video, Vanessa! You asked for input about virgin voyages. If you love Adult only all inclusives you’ll definitely love a virgin cruise! We are sailing with them again later this week to celebrate my birthday and I’m so looking forward to the scrumptious food and fun! The ships are beautiful and modern. The food is top notch and the atmosphere on board is just so upbeat.

Happy NY! You asked about Virgin. We did 7nights Mediterranean cruise in September. I loved that. Food was great as well as service. Having 600$ as a bar credit worked well, we went over like 25$(ofcz if you drink expensive things it will run out fast). In terms of comparison with resort stay- I loved Mediterranean cruise, every morning u r in different place that has history and what to see and experience. I’d not cruise to Caribbean, rather stayed in good resort. Thanks for resort updates. Let us know about your experience with Virgin Oh, about the price, our cruise was 4.5k, it’s actually cheaper than what we usually pay for AI in Caribbean P.S. excursions were too overpriced from the ship, we booked ours(private) with domestic guides much cheaper and enjoyed them.

Trying to decide if it is more cheaper to cruise our vacation land all inclusive.

I have done both. Most recently was Alaska in Aug. Cruises are not for us, but it is the best way to see Alaska. Definitely, more money than AI resorts. We usually stay at 5 star resorts, which are much cheaper than cruise , at least that was our experience. We had booked a window outside cabin. The ship was sold out, so very crowded. Boring when not at ports. I did go on Caribbean cruise many years ago and now know why I haven't done one since. So. it depends on your destination choice. If going South, I would go to an AI resort over cruise. especially if price is a factor. There are always great deals to the Cancun area. We have been there over 20 times. There are many many people who love cruises. So my advice, is price compare. Don't forget to factor in excursions when you get to your ports (there are usually 3-4) then food costs while off the ship, tips are automaticly charged to your account and air to cruise departure port. It also recommended to book hotel 1 day prior to your departure as well. The ship waits for no one.

Advice/ideas from anyone appreciated! I’m looking for a honeymoon location in the Caribbean but open to other ideas. I’d like something where we can have a villa or something similar right on the beach we can walk in and out of preferably at a couple different price points. We are more about quiet and relaxing and not having to travel for food ect much if possible. Don’t know if this even exists but I’m hoping! Thx!
