Booksi: You have to pay an additional $150 for the meeting and they give you a refund supposedly and plus you have to pay $150 extra hotel fee and then you cannot use the packages consecutively if you want to use them for an extended trip. So an $80 trip is actually $230 for a 3 night trip plus you have to attend the meeting to get your $150 back. Lame lame! I regret purchasing this and they refuse to give a refund after I spoke to 6 people wasting my time. Dont do it!!! There are other places that charge the same total.

If anyone has been to any of these resorts especially the number one and number two (Iberostar in particular) how did you feel about safety? I’m helping to plan a trip for my daughter and her friends (in their early 20s) to go on a trip that’s all inclusive. They’re very responsible girls just wanting some fun / relaxation ,and they want to stay on a resort. Not go off or be wild. Group of 7. So we’re trying to keep it budget friendly and keep it safe. My daughter has been in resorts where the male staff follow her down dark walkways to her room. Just never know how place is going to be. So I would love any insights to any of these locations. I did one cruise with my family when was 18 on Celebrity from NJ to Bermuda, 7 nights. I remember my Mom's gasp at the final bill at the end of cruise. It was okay but I do not think I can justify compared to AI, especially now that they are more expensive. I like large pools and my husband hates crowds so I'm not sure if I can ever pull the trigger, at least in the Caribbean..

My last vacay I went to the Paradisus Palma Real. I stayed in the Reserve section that was adults only. 2025 trip was my daughters turn to chose. She loves the Live Aqua in Cancun. I guess that could be considered a boutique adults only property.

Can someone help me decide between the 2 Cancun locations Secrets The Vine vs Secrets Riviera?

Been to Jamaica a few times. Never stayed on a resort only in airbnbs in nice communities. I always felt safe, the food is amazing, the smoke was really good from the dispensary. I rented a car last time. Took about 10 mins to get use to the left side driving

We love all-inclusive vacations and would personally be happy to go on just those trips forever. That said, we're going on our first cruise in less than a month. It's a belated 40th birthday trip for my SIL so a group of us are going. My husband and I definitely experienced some sticker shock. It is an 8 night cruise during Thanksgiving, but we reserved nearly a year in advance. We did book a balcony because I'm claustrophobic and cannot be stuck in an interior room for that long. We pre-paid gratuities because we'd been advised it was best to do so. Once a drink package was added, too, we both started wishing we'd booked another week at a really nice all-inclusive. Definitely excited to do something different, but unless we're just blown away, this may be our one & only.

So, getting to visit several different countries looks good on paper but, in 98% of the time, you don't have any time to actually see anything of said country except for the highly touristed cruise port. At least at an all inclusive you can take some time,rent a car,just get out there and visit. 3 cruises on 2 different lines with 10 day itinerary was enough...back to flights and actually experiencing another place.
