Myy nurse practioner put me on 30mg a day of a statin. This lead to NAFLD,High BP,Pre diabetes, inflammation in both rotator cuffs, debilitating back pain, stabbing pains in my neck.Foggy brain, couldn't find my words, couldn't use stairs.Alcohol is bad,but pharmaceuticals are just as bad if not worse. They denied that it was all caused by the statin.I immediately stopped the statin,as I had a gut feeling that was the cause.Within a month I started to heal.

I learned a lot having cirrhosis. Really it's all considered end stage because there's no cure. The liver is scarred and sometimes can recoup a little bit.... they say. I'm grateful for the diagnosis because I would not have quit drinking without it. Great video!

My cousin who I share a home with is going through this right now and until this moment with the information I gathered from this video I wasn’t aware of how close he is to the end. The swelling of the stomach is from a fluid called ascites. That fluid is dangerous if it's not drained. A lot of people don't realize what's happening when their stomach gets bloated like that. She probably had hepatic encephalopathy

Found out earlier today that my brother has stage 4 B liver disease. He was in the hospital 3 weeks ago because of fluid in the left side of his body. The fluid was in his feet, ankles, legs and lungs. He’s had the bands procedure for his esophagus twice now. His stomach was filled with fluid but the medication brought it down some. He hasn’t had the acitis procedure done because the doctor tells him it’s not bad enough yet. It was about two years ago that we noticed he started having issues with confusion, forgetfulness and paranoia. He seems to be more himself in the last 5-6 months. What I’m concerned about is his doctor told him that if he stays away from alcohol and eats a healthy diet (avoiding salt & sugar) he could live another 7-8 years? The information found here on KZbin and other sources are telling me that he probably has 2 years or less. I’m so confused and worried that his doctor isn’t being honest with him or my brother isn’t being honest with me.

It has no particular attachment to end of life situation and also I was diagnosed with cirrhosis via vera bleed 12 years ago and dog care company now I take my meds.
