That’s easily my favorite stretch of the entire story, and if they’re able to give it at LEAST the same level of quality we’ve gotten so far, then at least for me, this will undoubtedly be the best season of them all by a significant margin.

Anime is kinda stupid for having it look like Shigaraki put up some kind of barrier to block Bakugou’s Howitzer considering he shouldn’t have his quirks

And when all hope seemed lost, the number one hero did the one thing he knows how to do successfully, and he brought the heat! Endeavor’s a great pro hero. That’s just like, a fact, regardless of how I feel about him. In a weird way, this fight kinda shows off his best and worst attributes, as a hero, and as a person. As a hero, he’ll be willing to sacrifice his own arm just to get the job done and go head to head with some of the strongest villains in the world. But as a person, he’s been unable to confront his past head on, and will settle for figuratively burning the past for the second time instead of actually continuing to atone like he promised he would. Ultimately, it speaks to the kind of person that he is, someone who’s brave enough to go head to head with a villain like All for One and accept his wrongdoings, but too much of a coward to ever confront his own abusive past and do the bare minimum to atone for it. He can only admit that he was wrong and continue to do what he's been doing. All for One basically said “You’re awful,” expecting that to drag him down, and Endeavor just responded with, “you’re right, I am awful," and beats him. In a super weird way, I guess Endeavor is the perfect number one hero for society as is. A flawed and corrupt face for a flawed and corrupt society. It’s like poetry it rhymes...

First, I’m actually surprised they were able to adapt so much content into one episode so well. Correct me if I’m wrong, but does this adapt the most amount of chapters out of all episodes in the series? Second (13:02), while it even looked like it to me, I don’t think Shigaraki put up a barrier since his quirks are still erased. I think it’s just a visual effect.

HOT DAMN! They really went hard on this episode!!! Even though they adapted five chapters, it doesn't feel rushed at all. The pacing was solid! I swear, whenever Shiggy does his many fingers, that animation keeps surprising me every time! Endeavor's fight against AFO was FIRE! My only problem, and this has nothing to do with the episode itself. But it's actually the new opening. IT'S AMAZING! DON'T GET ME WRONG! ONE OF THE BEST! HANDS DOWN! But as mentioned...it spoils a lot. A LOT lol There's nothing wrong to foreshadowing things in an opening. But there's being inconspicuous and just literally showing too much. It could have been one of those anime openings that doesn't show too much in the beginning. Everything is in shadows. But as soon as the episodes progress, we get a version 2 of that opening, but it's more open with it's scenes. Now that we've seen those moment happen. Many animes do it. Bleach, Naruto, Black Clover, hell, even Demon Slayer season 1 and Jujutsu Kaisen season 1 did that. Speaking of Jujutsu Kaisen. A good example I can say is the Shibuya Arc opening. It does a great job, no...a splendid job foreshadowing the things to come WITHOUT being too spoiler-ish. For both anime onlys and Manga readers. Aside from that, the new MHA opening is GREAT! Love the new song! I do love how they show Dabi in flames and showing the many hands reaching out towards him! Now that was a great moment to show what's going to happen, but without telling anime onlys whose hands those belong to! Can't wait till we hit THAT moment! AWW! Looking froward to the next episode! KEEP IT UP, BONES!

This episode was one of the best so far, the Endeavor dragging AFO on the floor and that prominence burn was just amazing. Bakugou popped off too, shame that Shigaraki was on a WHOLE different level than him sadly. Though, how did AFO get Rewind? Did he copy it from the bullets somehow?? I guess we'll find out soon. (I've not read the manga-) Loved the OP too, one of favorites. Song wise it was amazing for me, the upbeat tone gives me a: "The end is near, and everything will be fine." And visually, it's the best. Not even OP 12 or 11 can beat this in terms of visuals. Amazing, I hope Bones Studio continues to cook. 9.2/10

This episode was my favorite so far the new op and ed are amazing the endeavor fight animated with howzliter impact were done so well this is the start of my most anticipated moments to be adapted I can't wait to see the next amazing job as always MHA really came back with a bang:)

All for One’s mask and how essential it is for the heroes to defeat him is literal justification that heroes should kill when there’s no other option If All Might hadn’t killed him earlier giving him this handicap when he was revived, there heroes would’ve been screwed

I gotta say for what we got in the anime for endeavors backstory if he does show why he was like this as a hero and a father because after witnessing his father‘s death and failure as a hero and the death of a young girl who he ended up failing to save, two deaths can really change a person feeling knowing that they don’t want to go through that kind of thing as they did. To me no wonder he wanted so much to aim at top hero like all might and how he was afraid of facing toya because knowing that his firework could burn his whole body badly he just couldn’t face The failure of what could’ve been a power of a hero that could succeed and surpass all might; it’s tough for him to face it physically and emotionally which is why he makes his wife Rei take care of him and the other kids so he can focus on his own way of how to surpass all might and not face his fear of failure. Does anyone think that this might be really selfish

That part with shigaraki opening a barrier makes no sense since he shouldn’t be able to use quirks, I even went back to the manga and I just don’t get how he blocked it, did he hold his hands or smh

What he did was grab Bakugo’s hand and take the blast head on, which is why part of his face was burned, and thanks to his enhanced body, that’s all he got. The barrier shown in the anime is probably just special effects to show the clash.

I never understood how Hawks shouted so quickly. He was so far away that there was no way he could see that something was amiss with burnt up AfO before Endeavor did AfO didn’t even start rewinding when Hawks shouted, so it’s even more weird when seeing this animated

@@Rjay0922I have to respectfully disagree. Chapters 396-398 is the first half of the AFO vs Armored AM fight that we see in the opening. Ending on chapters 403-405 would leave too little for the Final Season. Also, Chapter 398 ends on a really good cliffhanger.

@@Awesome_Swordsman That maybe true but I think Bakugo wakes up on end of chapter 403 should be S7 cliffhanger ending if S7 keeps adapting 4 chapters on 11 episodes left then S8 aka Final Season will get 8 or 10 episodes to finish MHA anime and it’ll be 167 or 169 and Re Destro keeps getting mentioned I still hope Re Destro’s commercial gets animated as flashback before MHA anime ends

In the anime All for ones eyes where shown and they where read but now they go with the manga accurate pale/white. Boy I sure hope someone got fierd for this blunder. Also remember back in season 3 when All for one didn't have his hand holes because it wasen't shown yet that they where an integral part of All for one (the quirk). Truly somthing extremly cursed. Also 0/10 adaptation for missing this.
