I love to see how Shaun Evans eyes and face reveals the inner struggles of Morse: his loneliness, repression of his feelings, superior intellect, his thinking process facing each of the challenges in each episode; his smile has the effect of lightning the screen. I wish the director could include more scenes in which Morse smiles. My whole family loves Morse

I’m so sad that this will be the final season of Endeavour. Shaun Evans was born to play the part. He’s very much like Mark Rylance in that his eyes and the smallest change of his facial expression can speak so much more eloquently about his thoughts and feelings than dialogue. To me that is the sign of an extraordinary actor.

Beautiful. When I watched Inspector Morse, I was young, without a care, in my home from the Far East. Then years later when Endeavour aired, I was in London, for a degree, alone, with a cup in my hand. Every bit of young Endeavour captures the enternal loneliness we all must face.

Its true and I feel it as a loss of an era made personal and recognizable to me. Already a lost time ' a time of innocence, a time of confidances. It was good to relive a good chunk of it with Endeavor as I do have moments of loneliness and longing for the unfulfilled parts az well as the scenery of that which is no longer. I felt for the characters and wished for a happily ever after for all ...imagine that. Enjoyable well placed well scripted talent. Maybe a movie.😏💞

I've loved this series since the 1st episode and I miss the plot, the atmosphere and the main character's sadness. I finally miss Shaun Evans himself, especially his eyes and what I could see in them, a very good actor. What else? I think I'll watch the series again.

I came upon this show during Covid. Lucky me. Fell in love with the writing, acting and emotion. Shaun Evans, Roger Allam and the rest kept me more than entertained and sane during a difficult time. I've watched episodes more than once and still am in love with this show. My heartaches to know it's almost over. I'll miss the fine acting, writing and directing. Thank you for such a fine show - something all too rare.

I've always hated books that told the ending at the beginning, and in this case we know it because we all loved Morse and know sadly how our favourite guy passes. I hate that too, but I've so enjoyed the last 9 season with Endeavour. The Brits do these series like Endeavour, Morse, Vera, Shetland, Lewis, Poirot, Miss Marple with excellence. They are a joy to watch.

Evropská kulturní fronta televizní i filmová upadá již řadu let. Kvalitní tvůrci nemají prostor a přednost má cokoliv bez ohledu na kvalitu. Je to trend jako v USA. Endeavour je vyjímka . Je o životě policisty do detailů tak jak v praxi probíhá a je kvalitně zpracovaný . Už takových seriálů mnoho nevzniká. Kultura upadá , lidem jsou vnucovány odpadky zabalené ve staniolu. Vzpomínám na kulturu v letech 60.
