A lot of the ones out now are very light stretch cotton. They're more flexible than a lot of the athletic pants. They used to look weird, but now they look like normal jeans. If this was a new pair of the thick denim, that would be rough.

What is this called? A back snap? Seems like a very unnatural movement and a great way to end up in a wheelchair. The sit up looks fine, I guess. Probably not going to wreck yourself. The squat is again, probably fine. It's the transition from a sitting position to a standing position that's going to fuck your shit up. Note, 0:16, weight is unevenly distributed across the body frame. Back is arched hard and this guys PR. But hey, you can do whatever the fuck you wanna do!

I don't recommend this at all. He's pulling the whole weight with his psoas major. The moment he starts moving up his torso is an incredibly strong and sudden inward tuck on his spine. This is a disc hernia waiting to happen. But what do I know? It's not like you can look up the psoas major muscle, where it's connected to and what movements it helps you do.
