I said this in the earlier parts when she was gonna end it short. Don't let people judge you. There are certain people who will enjoy watching this game or playthrough. Not a lot of people like APT but if you think you can play for the real one's do it. I understood where Liteweight was coming from at that time but glad she finished it. For some reason it wouldn't look right to not see here reaction to the ending especially for the later stages in the game when it got intense. I'm happy at the end of the day.

Girl started out as a noble with a family and servants. Lost her father, on the run, and was forced to kill at the age of 15. Forced to kill again, watched her mother die, and then finally had to kill the last remaining member of her family with the same hand and sling she used to protect him at the age of 16. I'll admit, this got me depressed for two weeks when I played it myself. I got so depressed that it physically affected my health. No game has ever done that before and I've been playing games since I was 6.

When I beat this game, I let the whole credits run just so I could sit there and process all of my emotions. Such a good but sad story. Also, at the end you realize it's Hugo who's moving the rats so that Amicia could walk towards Hugo. In the game Hugo states that it hurts to control them. This series really is a masterpiece and I'm glad I gave both games a chance

That song at 53:43 is called "A Plague Tale Requiem," and it was performed by Estonian Philarmonic Chamber Choir. And the lyrics for that scene as she walks towards Hugo go like this: "La joie et moun cœur Tu es tout mon bonheur Ô Soleil Ô Merveille Ô Lumière Tu es pareille à ton père" These verse translates to: "The joy in my heart You made all my happiness Oh Sun Oh Wonder Oh Light You are just like your father" Please correct me if I'm wrong with the translation. I totally recommend watching "A Plague Tale Requiem Symohony", this amazing choir sang some of the most important songs from the game, opening with this one and closing with "Up There" whish is the song playing in the background as Amicia is fighting the giant rat-shaped men before walking tomars Hugo with Lucas. ✌️❤️💪

First of all I'd like to thank you for finished this game that I consider an underrated masterpiece,I know it was not easy with few people seeing,commenting etc but I think for me really worth seeing you finishing it and for future people who wants to watch It, another thing there is an alternativ end if you take so long to do kill him Lucas do it,but personaly I don't like much of this end because Amicia can't forgive him completely for doing it and I think it's not fair with him,also so glad you liked this game even more than the first one I'm in the same page here,I guess this game development was way better in every aspect,is not a happy ending but sometimes even in real life you can try so hard do you best but sometimes is not like we expected,for next game there is dead space and Hogwarts Legacy will lauch soon but I guess I would recomend something happier because it's a little heartbreaking seeing suffer but anyway glad you finished the game 🙂

To be honest for me the ending is that elevates this game above so many others. Don't get me wrong it sucks but it's great also.

51:00 "You can't make me do that!" That is actually true: You can decide to not make Amicia kill her own brother. Which I did, because I thought that Amicia had suffered enough and in my timeline she would not have to do this. And I don't think she would have, because up until the last second she expressed hope to save Hugo, and emotionally she would not be able to harm her own brother, no matter his condition as long he was alive (and he just spoke to her in his normal voice so she would have all reasons to believe that Hugo is still inside his body). So I simply refused and waited to see what would happen. And in the end Lucas did take this burden from her - and it was right, because he knew since the first chapters of the story that Hugo would need to die to end the Macula. And while Amicia's path was to save Hugo, Lucas' path was to stop the Macula, so he took the crossbow and did it for Amicia. And to me that is the right ending.

For me its not the right ending hugo asked to amicia and wanted that the one he love the most end his suffering so dhe font respected his wish…

@@JJOOKER Amicia went over Hugo's wishes already before that a couple of times and rejected his opinion on things, because she was convinced her path would lead to healing him. It would not be out of character to not follow his wishes here, as she still had hope and expressed it during the exchange with him all the time. Amicia does not flip her opinion in a second and changes her goal from saving Hugo to killing him. That's not who she is.

The way that I look at it I think Hugo could have been saved I noticed when balassic was the carrier before his protector couldn’t get to him which led to the out break and now the same with Hugo I noticed everything is all calm when they arrive places up until they are attacked or soldiers try to take Hugo away from alecia his protector which makes him angry and causes the rats to come I think if they would have just left them alone this would have happened and Hugo gave himself up cause he felt that he lost everything when he saw his sister get shot and thought she died then when it came time Hugo was testing alecia to give up and to stop fighting and end all this once and for all by killing him at the end and he wanted her to do it and no one else it’s closer for him

When the game came out, I think the very next day all the cut scenes were on youtube so I binged it all. Then watched gamers play it. All I could do without spoiling it is warn... the ending... it's... traumatizing... I cried myself asleep.

But I'd like to point out that I really like the idea of editing "best of" episodes of time-consuming games like this one, as you did here. This kind of edit doesn't serve *all* lengthy games well, but very story-driven ones with lots of non-linear gameplay can benefit quite nicely from it.

Man, this game destroys on an emotional level. Amicia, Hugo, Beatrice, Lucas, they all deserved better... You know, there is an alternate ending, sort of; if you wait too long to put Hugo down, Lucas will grab Amicia's crossbow and do it himself. The dialogue with Sophia afterwards implies Amicia is keeping her distance from Lucas because she can still see him killing Hugo. This game just doesn't stop with the emotional gut punches, does it? 😢

My heart broke at the ending when u have to do that to Hugo :( , When I first saw Beatrice die, I literally yelled at my TV lol and started balling my eyes out on her death along with Hugo's , that shattered me but I'm glad this did have like a small cliffhanger , also If u didnt kill Hugo, Lucas wouldve done it :( so in my opinion its best that Amicia did it u know :( but anyways I'm glad u gave this another chance and to complete it, I always love ur playthroughs , excellent job and work as always :)~

Thank you for finishing the game! Very depressing, but fitting ending. Everything amicia did in these 2 games to save Hugo, all the sacrifices, all the pain was all in vain. Poor Hugo was doomed at birth due to the malcula with no chance for a happy life which made all the moments of happiness he did have bittersweet to watch. Poor kid. The ending is why i don't see myself playing this again although im glad i did

Great game. Gorgeous graphics. And that emotional gut punch the ending was. As for a future game I would recommend the Subnautica games. Though not as emotional, or gorgeous as this game, it is very good for views and viewer interactions.
