Love the review man, my experience is very similar, although I've only skated the 90's, and I have nowhere near your skills!! I love these frames, they're very solid, yet light enough, feel good on jumps, and I agree they would be great for beginners also, in fact I agree with everything said in this review, and would like to also skate the 4x80/84//3x100 and 4x100/3x110 setups, the latter to compare with my wizard NR100's. I've not skated nearly enough to have material for such an in depth review! I've only posted some clips on my Instagram, I have a lot going on right now, in my personal life, as well as generally, but I'm hoping to get back into doing some KZbin vids once the madness slows down, and skating does calm my mind so.. I'm glad you enjoy these frames as much as I do, I'll be checking out some of your tutorials to get some of those moves down, damn.. So much still to learn! It's one of the great things about skating, you're never done learning. Good luck! And be safe ☀️

How does the Endless 90 compare to your Wizards 100s?
@Johro664 жыл бұрын
@@ColinThia sorry about late reply, they feel very different if I'm honest, but it will feel different anyway because of the different boot and ufs mount. You can definitely pull off those "wizardy" moves on the endless frames tho, and they are quality frames. The wizard feels very different to me, in weight, but in other ways too, it's hard to describe. Also, hard to compare a 4x90mm mm "balanced" rocker of the endless frame to a 4x100 natural rocker wizard. But as for skating enjoyment, they both rock. The 4x100 endless frame will probably feel closer, as would the NN "ronin" 4x100 frame.

The new frames look amazing, this will be my next buy. I’ve just never bought a custom set up of skates before. So I need to figure out what the best boot/wheels and w/e else I may need to go along with them. Main reason I want them is I’ve been torn between 4 x 80 or 3 x 110 for my first official pair of skates (my current set up is a casual k2 skate for beginners). Plus, you said this was perfect for beginners... so that describes me haha.

hi Deez, Thanks for your in-depth testing🙏. Your results correspond to my experiences in the last three weeks. Couldn’t wait any longer and bought also a B-stock sample to save some bucks and I must say there is nothing I would complain in terms of production finishing. I decided to buy the 90/110 because of the frame length and I was curious to find out if they handle as I expected. Well, firstly not. They are mounted to a pair of Twister boots with 90mm RB supreme wheels (85a). As you said, you have get used to them (like any other setup) but firstly I missed the agility of a banana rocker (ok, that’s not fair..) but I thought that 1,5mm could have been better than only 1mm. Nonetheless they felt absolutely save and stable. I did a long distance run, and: they are fast! Really fun and smooth riding on bumpy terrain. And after a couple of days I got really used to them: they can be quite agile, but you have to play with the weight balance and for sure it also depends on the surface. And it all the time is a wonderful balance of agility and stability. They definitely have impact on your blading style. Haven’t yet tried the three wheel setup, but that’s on my list. My verdict: worth the investment!👌

18:23 - or a figure skater or a skier... I have come to the conclusion that all beginner skates should have a very slight bit of rocker. I have done all of the aforementioned activities, some decently well. So I decided to try rollerblading. bought a 4x90 flat skate (RB Maxxum) and it's damned near impossible to turn (it's the inside leg - the one that needs to pivot in a tight space - that's the problem, not the outside leg). I can swizzle & do lemons, skate forward and backwards (a little better backwards), but I'm still plow-turning when forward. Also, my feet are small. 230mm on a 280 wheelbase with 4x90 flat - I feel like I'm on speed skates. So, I ordered these frames. And, I ordered some slalom skates too. I have my eye on the PS Next 3x100 skates which are not available till late May. Literally no one tells you about how NOT maneuverable a flat 4x[X] setup is. Sure, stability is fine, but not being able to turn or maneuver easily, makes pretty much doing anything (as a beginner) impossible, except for going forwards. Thanks for this review - really appreciate it!

Excellent review, Dude! I‘d really like to try a set of the 80s as I roll 80 & 100mm wheels and prefer a smaller frame. At 255mm the 80 frame is still long but your sprints looked snappy and sharp which is more my style of skating. The only concerns I’d have would be weight, length, and the rocker. I’ve tried rockering before and it felt hella awkward, though it was pretty extreme, and you did note the rocker was subtle and not like a typical rockered setup so it may suit. Good you had the opportunity to try them first, and thanks for sharing.

Great review! I'm fairly beginner (still can't parallel turn, can kind-of drag stop). Anyone have thoughts about 4x84 vs. 4x90? I have Flying Eagle Falcons (4x80), and they're fine but when I tried a pair of Rollerblade Tempest 90s (indoors in a living room) it felt so smooth and stable I wanted to try that wheel size. Would 4x84 on these provide similar stability? I'd eventually like to do dance-y moves but I'm nowhere near that yet. For the moment just want to be confident rolling, turning, and stopping.
@will59484 жыл бұрын
Do you find on rockered frames that eventually your wheels wear flat until they're not rockered anymore?
@DeezSkates4 жыл бұрын
Will, It’s actually the opposite. Since hard turning occurs by exercising pressure mostly in the heels and toes, I find that as long as I flip the wheels over and keep them in their original positions when rotating, that the rocker actually increases with time. Of course, if you spend a lot of time doing slides on gritty surfaces you may wear out the center wheels more and the rocker can be decreased. Just takes a measurement of each wheel and repositioning during rotation to fix that though.
@balazstudos38584 жыл бұрын
Nice! How are the Supreme wheels? Especially compared to Hydrogens? I would have considered the 4x90 but after more than 2 years finally Ps came out with a metal 4x90 trinity frame. And indeed that is an amazing experience after playing with and considering so many other options with the 165 mount. 4x setups are actually where trinity (would have) excelled, but to everybody's surprise they didn't have it. The placement of the 165 bolts simply don't allow a really low setup. So unfortunately there will never be a really good option here. Btw the symmetrical ufs bolts are really good for 4x big wheels, that's why the NR100 looks and probably feels that good.
@DeezSkates4 жыл бұрын
I’d say the Supreme is somewhat comparable to the Street Invader. Haven’t tried Hydrogens before and the shop was out of them.
@DeezSkates4 жыл бұрын
Also, concerning the ride height, you might be interested in this. I compared ride height and covered the clearance and a lot of that is a misconception. Even some of the trinity boots actually sit higher than this mount on the 90mm setup. Endless has a FAQ that also covers this. www.endlessblading.com/apps/help-center#!hc-are-you-compromising-the-ride-height-with-the-multiple-setups-1
@balazstudos38584 жыл бұрын
Deez Skates thanks! You are probably right in many aspects and I am really not here to praise trinity and Ps. I was especially disappointed by the fact that there was no available trinity frame between 255 and 320 mm in length. These endless frames seem to be lower in the 3x config which already rightfully refutes many of the trinity claims. But the 4x options is another story. For raised heel mountings ideally the second wheel is above the front mounting block(s) to get as close as possible to the bottom of the skate. But that is mainly the consequence of the mounting system. Please also note that the NR100 front wheel often almost touches the boot.
@DeezSkates4 жыл бұрын
I hear ya, bro. I love the Trinity, and you’re right. The four wheel configuration definitely has an advantage with Trinity.. which blows me away that PS is not more focused on 4 wheels setups with it. They almost seem reluctant to focus on it. Seems like almost every high end skate package they make is a triskate..
@balazstudos38584 жыл бұрын
The triskate fad was and in a way still is a marketing tool against falling sales. But still, selling an EU48-49 size skate with a 243mm frame is not only looking bad but probably even dangerous. In no other skating discipline (e.g. ice, quad) would this be acceptable. Trinity is an extra to it, with the interesting fact that it was already a failure in the first year for speedskating as their own team largely refused to change due to some technical misconceptions. (I guess). To name a few: practically non existent lateral adjustment in the front and an effective mounting distance of approx. 140mm which is incredibly short compared to a 335mm frame. Technically it is almost impossible to make a strong frame with these given or it was possible, but they screwed up. At least I only heard complaints about the 4x110 trinity frame for example and it failed under me as well. It seems they are actually giving it up as the newest iteration of r2 and r4 are 195mm mount again. And now they are finally waking up for freeskate and urban with the 4x90.

Bauer hockey skates back in the 90's had such a low center of gravity the second wheel from the front was counter sunk into the sole of the boot. Now we have the Trinity system from PS and providing the same low to the ground feel. The front wheel is level with the bottom of the skate. FR, Seba, Flying Eagle and others need to go back to the drawing board like Powerslide did and spend some money on research and developing and come up with a better mounting system on their boots. Why would anyone buy this dated design? Beats me.

Funny enough.. the trinity mount skates are all a different design on the bottom. So not all of them are actually lower. I compared this mount to the Trinity and some of the models like the Next actually sit higher than the 165 due to the extension the trinity platforms have below the boot.

Deez Skates oh I wasn’t aware of that. My ps HC evo pro sit nice and low. Maybe they’re trying to squeeze too much out of them for applications.

I wasn’t aware of it either until recently. Testing these frames led me to some interesting comparisons that helped me see quite a few things I didn’t realize.

Adding to what Deez skates said, the decision to get a skate is not solely about sitting a few mm closer to the ground. Prices matter, fitting depending on feet and brands matter (aka comfort).... so people will still buy other brands despite trinity and quadro mounts....

@@DeezSkates yes I got some questions too about ride height when I first received the prototype frames and featured them on my Instagram, lots of messages asking about this and I took pics and measurements to compare with my other fr1 setups as well as the wizard nr100, and to be honest, ride height really wasn't an issue with either my 4x90 or 3x110 setup, if anything, it was either equal or lower in comparisons. Endless really couldn't have squeezed any more out of it, it's a well designed frame.
