The creativity packed into such a short clip?! This one really stands out as the best overall imo. The meshing of 3d, 2d, realistic, and graphical styles, is mind boggling. Usually you see the entries and can pinpoint someone's specialty, but this one has it all. It really looks like the result of a team rather than a single artist. Amazing work!

0:31 How to you get viewport to look that colorfull without applying materials? I know that blender have that feature out of the box, but im switching to cinema 4d and cant find it. Is it only posible by applying voronoi fracture or is it any simpler way of getting colors on your objects (for easier animation) without voronoi? Thanks in advence for advice 🙂

It's because of the Voronoi effect, otherwise I'm not sure if it would be possible.

Hey this is incredible, are you able to explain how you got your viewport to display multicoloured objects at 0:22? This is something I see in Blender a lot but I dont know how to achieve in Cinema4D? Thanks

Thanks! It's due to the Voronoi effect that I apply to the buildings to make them appear. Otherwise, I don't think it would be possible to have this kind of display in C4D.

Lots of great work here. the animation is the only thing really lacking and unfortunately holds the whole thing back quite a lot. The car needs a lot more weight, especially when it lands after that first big jump. It sort of floats to the ground instead of landing hard and recoiling. Keep it up!

Thank you for your feedback. As a motion designer, animating the car was a challenge within the challenge. Working with version 1 of the template without slowing down the movement was not easy, which is one of the reasons why I opted for a less realistic universe. I agree with your comment, but based on these observations, I am very satisfied with my animation :)
