I had a district of a city in a battlefield, but I didn't get the militia reinforcements, how big is reinforcements area?

Thanks for uploading the 5 guides!Also had a question about this video. I've had several times when my own Militia units inside a city dropped from level 2 back to level 1. What causes this xp loss? Might have been because of a burough being build, not sure though.

Great video but a couple questions:1. What counts as in the city? Is it just the city tiles or do the surrounding exploitation tiles count as well?2. If you are being sieged and you attack to stop it while your army is still in the city do you get the fortification bonus or do you always lose it if you are the attacking party?

Not 100% sure on the first question, but I think it's the surrounding tiles as well. If you attack while being sieged you lose the fortification bonus, so it's a bit of a trade-off :)

Waervyn Plays If that's the case then what use is fortification to begin with for the player? The fortification is a huge boost sure but only if the enemy attacks and reasonably speaking there is no reason for the enemy to ever attack. They either siege you to death at which point they win or you attack them and completely lose your bonus defeating the purpose of even having the bonus to begin with.. It just seems like less of a trade off and more of a useless feature for the player to bother with or at least I'm not seeing any benefit to it.

It gives you a ton of time to bring forces from somewhere else to help you with the siege, and it ties up the enemy forces during that time.

You said you can select the units that will not reinfoce your armies or select the units that will, how can I do this, will my own reinforcements appear in some place for me to click on them to join the battle? can you make a video with your own reinforcements or explain it more?

Check 10.33m. You'll see that I'm attacking two different armies. If YOU are the one being attacked you can also see multiple rows. Then you can mark the checkboxes to notify the game which of those extra forces you will allow to join the battle.

Your annotation says you can attack units outside the city. Do you mean specifically the city or does it also apply to the region as a whole?

+Tristan Morris As long as the units are not in the city but within 'reinforcement range', they will be able to draw in the city units as reinforcements. Hope that makes sense.

Well the video is a couple of years old, but I don't think they changed much (except balancing, buffing, nerfing) regarding the combat, so it most, if not all, should still be true :)

Good to know! Ever feel like gaming Endless Legend? New patch is coming today with Kapaku, new faction and solar eclipses. I am planning on hosting a game with at least 4 people. Trying to find as many Europeans to join so we don't have too many desyncs.
