The flashback was 100% made for this movie. They made sure to use a filter and grain that gave the flashback the same look as the original. For Loomis, they picked a dude that worked behind camera, apparently he looked even more like Donald Pleasence without the prosthetics..

The footage of Loomis was actually made for the film and it’s all practical! From what I’ve heard online, one of the staff working had a very deep resemblance to Pleasence (Loomis’ actor) so they put some make up on him to make him perfectly fit the part.

Nobody would listen to Laurie and they underestimated Michael, since none of the Mob had really survived an attack. They didn't truly believe or know how brutal he was, despite Laurie constantly telling them. Laurie's own daughter stayed so ignorant she spent the movie in a Christmas sweater ffs! and look how that ended for her.

The time and care they put into the flashbacks was incredible! The film is all over the place but I do have a soft spot for it! Lindsey smacking Michael with a bag of bricks was iconic. They had a man on set who looked EXACTLY like Donald Pleasance so they did some makeup trickery and voice work.

4:38 The reason we say "Stay with me" is because people start to fade out, if you give them something to focus on, they're less likely to go out completely (pass out). ANY TIME you have an injured person who NEVER loses consciousness, medically, they tend to have better outcomes in the long run and those people tend to heal more quickly and have less long-term effects of whatever happened to them. When you start to pass out or faint (same thing just different words), you really easily lose focus bc your brain is in emergency mode at that moment, your brain is scrambling for oxygen and blood and your body is basically increasing your carbon dioxide and dumping all your blood into your feet, so the best thing to do is lay the person down, and put their feet up level to or slightly above the heart (unless they have certain medical conditions), to allow the blood to return to the brain in a slowed down manner and allow the person to regain consciousness. This is true unless they were shot in the neck lol. If any of the Great Vessels are injured, PLEASE apply pressure to the would so the bleeding slows or stops and they can still breathe. If their throat has been sliced, tell them to tuck their chin to their chest as that will allow the great Vessels in the neck to realign and less blood will be lost. It's essentially like if you were to cut a hose in half and then hold the severed ends together, you WILL see blood flow regulate itself and there will still be a lot of blood loss so they need help ASAP. I'd love to do an "Emergency Medicine for Horror Movie Scenarios" video series lol. But I don't make content. Would ANYONE want to watch that?

I watched all the Halloweens growing up and Michael was always a top tier villain to me. I love this iteration of the franchise cause he truly feels like the scariest, pure evil incarnate. The only problem with ignoring all the other movies except the first in this timeline is that Michael has only killed 4 people before he escapes again. While it would be harrowing for those involved or loved ones I don’t see it setting off the whole town this way. Maybe if they all knew he had added over 10 since then. Still my favourite thing about the movies is how with only having killed his sister as a 6 year old and never having spoken Dr Loomis, a professional went full on supernatural evil about his patient and said kill him, burn him. Not, he’s a psychopath but EVIL. It’s batshit crazy and I love that

I’m gonna watch Halloween Ends in a few minutes. Great reaction as always. I can’t believe it’s been exactly a year since Halloween Kills came out. It honestly doesn’t feel like that to me. I feel like it just came out and a year later, the last movie comes out. My goodness, I felt so bad for that mental patient. I was seriously yelling at my screen “that’s not Michael.” “Why would Michael run away from people?” And “Y’all should know that Michael is taller and more masculine and buff.” And the second I saw that man jump out the window, I cried so hard. And yes I’m the type of person who cries during any movie. But it’s the fact that no one would listen to Laurie and Karen when they said he wasn’t Michael. Like yeah I understand everyone was yelling, so no one would hear them, but it was still sad. And the fact Karen tried to help him 😭 they should also know that Michael doesn’t speak, and this man was seeking help. I had already watched the beginning of Halloween Ends earlier, and I cried. But imma watch the rest in a minute. (I also cried a lot when Vicky died in Halloween 2018. Same with Dana (the journalist), they were my fav characters.) None of the flashback scene was original footage. It was all shot on an indoor set that had been built to exactly replicate the street that the "Myers House" sat on. Loomis was played by Tom Jones who was working on set. Everyone noticed how much he looked like Pleasance. A little bit of prothstetic makeup brought Loomis back to life.

i’ve never realized that this trilogy of halloween movies has a different approach to evil. halloween (2018) is about what evil is and can do. halloween kills is about how evil can affect people and halloween ends (semi-spoilers) is about evil who isn’t michael and what it means to be evil. so interesting

I absolutely love horror movies my mom however absolutely hates them with the exception of scream series she loved Cindy and Gale as the final girl duo! but loves your videos too and it’s how I’ve been able to introduce her to horror more! She went to see this film with me opening night and she absolutely hated it cause it scared her to death and I know she’s gonna love your reaction! I wish you nothing but the best and want to personally say thank you for being you and bringing us closer together through your hilarious jokes they literally have us rolling on the floor at times!🤣🤣🤣

The "Doctor Loomis" stand-in was one of the production crew. They noted an uncanny resemblance to Donald Pleasants and had him play Loomis in the flashbacks. They actually were concerned that once the make-up department did some minor prosthetics to "close the gap" that he looked a little less like Donald Pleasants than he did before the prosthetics. Looking forward to your reaction to the final part of the trilogy!
