The only problem with ignoring all the other movies except the first in this timeline is that Michael has only killed 4 people before he escapes again. While it would be harrowing for those involved or loved ones I don’t see it setting off the whole town this way. Maybe if they all knew he had added over 10 since then. Still my favourite thing about the movies is how with only having killed his sister as a 6 year old and never having spoken Dr Loomis, a professional went full on supernatural evil about his patient and said kill him, burn him. Not, he’s a psychopath but EVIL. It’s batshit crazy and I love that

Like I cannot help you lol. So excited we are back with Insidious! I watched this one for the first time in preparation of this video and then watched The Last Key as well. I enjoyed them both because of the focus on Elise and her past as well as how she met Tucker and Specs. Looking forward to when we eventually get to the next and excited for my own watch of The Red Door soon. One thing I didn't like about this movie was the CHEAP jump scare at the end with the red face demon. I'm glad it didn't get me and it was disappointing not getting the signature gasp at the end. The insult to injury is that this mask breather was so violent. It was constantly grabbing and throwing Quinn around. Just relentless in his pursuit and attack on her when she couldn't even really run or fight. 😭😭 I think the red doors are how people travel from one house to another? Or perhaps to different realms inhabited by spirits? I'm honestly not sure. Like maybe behind each red door there's a powerful entity that haunts that space? Maybe the most recent movie will tell more since it's titled "The Red Door" lol.
