March 19, 2020 - At the time of great fear and panic in our country, with the coronavirus mania going on, I must put things in perspective and look at life back during World War II. This is my calming remedy, my peace, and now my salvation.

Everytime I see J Edgar Hoover can't help but picture him in a dress with a ball gag in his mouth. Lol

I've recently started watching these programs of America at war in ww2 . As I watch my mind wonders at the thought of outta all these young brave men shown how many made it home at wars end !? I had 5 great uncles that did there service and all made it home two were wounded another one as I've been told came home not all right in the head and I can understand what the horrors of War can do to a person's mind . It's so sad we've been around on this Earth for as long as we have and we still haven't been able to get along with our fellow man and today with the way how the world is going we still haven't learned I pray that my grandchildren don't have to experience the horrors of War or worse

J E Hoover washed his hands like P. Pilate and kids went wild. Dads in service. Moms working. Kids alone WENT AND USUALLY GO ASTRAY...

The latch key kids were invented in 1940's, not the 70's.

Ronald Reagan in this. What a coward he was. He went on to be an informer to the McCarthey hearings. Other than Reagan in this film, not a bad watch.

Really? Hollywood was a hot bed of Communist infiltration, using films to further communist ideas and propaganda. It's now known that Joe McCarthy was right. Lots of liberals in Hollywood. Liberal as long as you agree with them. RR was a good man. He knew where the country was headed.

Pitiful video! Had no idea Eric ever participated in anything this weak. Did an adult review this video prior to release? I hope not!
