On 20th May 1927, 26 year-old aviator Charles Lindbergh makes the wildest decision of his life - to cross the Atlantic single-handedly. On the day of his departure, a crowd of pessimistic onlookers gather to witness the Spirit of Saint-Louis taking off. Lindbergh crossed the Atlantic in 33 hours, a feat that turned the young man into a world hero.

See that shot with his mom @2:34 he said in his book he didn't want her to know. But the media found her and freaked her out. So she hoped on a train to see if her baby was ok. He never cared for the growing media. Otherwise she didn't know. He didn't want to worry her. He's standing there thinking you A-holes.

It was easy for him, only 33 hours, keep cruising, only Weather, Navigation only problems. Probably ate lunch. Took short naps. Not as difficult as people think. They add alot of drama to it.
