For those who drink a ton of water, I'm 9 days post-op & I downed 70oz today! It's definitely possible. However I'm have to drink *all day* to get to 70oz. It's very worth it though!

Thank you for this video. I wish I had seen it before my surgery. I had my sleeve done at a hospital in Germany and there was no advice on how to drink post-op (I don’t know if it was just the language barrier or what). I was given a 1 liter bottle of water and a normal sized glass and told to drink 2 bottles a day before I was allowed to go home. That’s it… other than the judgmental “you’re not drinking enough. You’ll never go home at this rate.” I feel more supported by your videos than I do by my own surgical team.

I'm a really big water drinker. 2 days out of surgery and this crossed my mind I got so scared that I won't be able to drink normal again. 1 or 2 sips of water and it hurts.... Looks like I just have to be patient.

I have a question about Seltzer water I am 2weeks post-op and wanted to know if in the future I would be able to drink it again. I have been soda free for 4years and Seltzer water is mya alternative.

Hello Capricorne! You have to wait months before drinking that water again, after that you can do it but I don't recommend carbonated beverages to my patients
