I have learned this so many times during various courses over the last 10 years. I have been thought by pharmacologists, neuroscientists and physiologists. At times over the years I convinced myself cells biology is really difficult. When you explain this stuff really the way you do you smash that myth. none of this stuff is complicated, everyone can understand it. These lecturers were great researchers but you are a great teacher.

But then he forgot to mention that the GAlpha S Protein is actually a trimeric protein which dissociates from its Beta and Gamma subunits upon the addition of GTP by GEF. The Lecture is fantastic but some few details were missed. GTP don't just replace GDP, there has to be some Exchange Factors and then GTP can via intrinsic GTpase hydrolysis get converted back to GDP .
