Yes definitely advocate for yourself. I had my kids early on but both c sections at 19 and 21 and started having more severe pain aftet having my kids. Was diamissed for about 9 years before I finally found a doctor outside of my town who decided on laproscopy surgery and diagnosed me with stage 3 endometriosis with ovarian cysts and accompanying endometriomas. My surgery lasted 5 hours and there was still some left behind that they couldnt get to to remove or future fertility would be destroyed. Been trying for two years now after surgery and still not pregnant naturally. Hormones lab work is normal though so idk my body must be inhabitable because i went undiagnosed for so long.

Thank you for helping shine more light on this terrible affliction. My endometriosis is mild and causes me painful intercourse but that's the least of its consequences. It has significantly lowered my egg quality and stops my follicles bursting during ovulation. IVF is my only chance. ❤

Thank you so much for your video. Now, it makes all sense to me all the symptoms that I have been through. I am 42. I and my partner plan to get pregnant through IVF but we found out I have chronic endometritis and very tiny polyp that needs to be removed. My dr. Prescribed for antibiotics. It is sad news at the same time I feel relieved that at least found out before FET. Thank youn hopefully, we can have a baby.❤

What are your thoughts about endometriose and long covid?
@christianmarshrosey197710 күн бұрын
Hi Dr. Lora. I just booked my hysterectomy yesterday and having second thoughts , feeling a little panicky. I'm in my late 40s, did a myectomy for fibroids 12 years ago. This time, I am diagnosed with adenomyosis and fibroids again. The ultrasound says mass effect on my bladder seen, my bladder is compressed and slight hydronephrosis in right kidney. I got this diagnosis when i felt my bladder was going to explode but had very little urine in it. However the bladder pressure symptoms improved. The doctors have been recommending hysterectomy, but nobody gave me treatment for the disease. I'm still worried about whether I need this surgery without them giving me meds to treat my adenomyosis first. Shouldn't a life changing surgery be a last resort? I'm having second thoughts now.
