This is awesome! I've been designing plans for a day / night cycle task system. So my AI 'get up' in the morning, do tasks during the day then go to sleep. Trying to figure out how to manage task completion within than and estimating time remaining or how long it will take them to walk back home is a pain though

Sounds amazing Ross! And yeah I imagine there's some maths you need to do there, for example: Time to walk home = AI current location - AI home location / AI walk speed IF Current time + Time to walk home == Night (or Desired home time): THEN Go home ELSE Continue This is my first thoughts anyway! I've written it in pseudocode, but it's easily translated to Blueprints. Or you could do a more simple, AI goes home at 5PM. (If it is a normal working day you are doing anyway)

Please consider doing advance locomotion system merges or new ai controler with behaviour trees those will be more useful for many of us developing games arround there ..

How can you make it that the enemy is always near the player? In a horror game e.g. if there´s one enemy who searches for you but if you go too far away he kind of follows you and searches in the area you go to

I'm not sure if you would, I'd say don't do it just to be safe. Also, it'd be considered better on your part as a Developer to make your own character either from scratch or by modifying an Asset Store one enough that's it's original. Perhaps you could use it as an Easter Egg. That way it wouldn't be seen as lazy, it would seen most likely as a nice touch of appreciation for Epic Games and what they provide to us as Devs.

I don't believe you do, as I've seen other people do it before, however it is probably something you'd want to look into further. I imagine it'll be written in their EULA. It's been a while since I've read it so can't remember exactly

hey since you posted this one, by any means we can have a chance for you to post a video about how to "respawn a dead enemie?. like in some games when you kill a unit some seconds after it death a new one respaw or when you leave the respawn point with the camera after killing the enemie and come back it will be there again??, would be good see others ways of do a spawn;

@@MattAspland thanks, i've tried do that but failed horrible, in my attempts or after the "first died" it started a "endless spawn with the enemie spawn at non stop instead of wait the current one die to spawn a new one or in another attempt it only spawned once after the first die then never spawn again.
