Such good choices! I’ve read all but one in this video. Punk 57 is one of my favorite books of all time! I’ve read it once a year since I first read it and really need to reread it again this year. I definitely agree that it tackles so much more than just the romance. And I really need to get to War! I loved Pestilence! Have you read Rhapsodic by Laura Thalassa? I loved that one too!

You NEED to read Bad Boy Blues. It's from the author of The Unrequited and it's really similar to Vicious: the heroine has dyed hair, the hero bullied her in high school, she works for the hero's family and he comes back after disappearing for 3 years. And the smut? Excellent. And it's available on KU :)

An enemies to lovers that I enjoyed was Damiano De Luca by Parker S. Huntington. It's mafia based and I love that type of drama and politics in romance. This book is part of The Five Syndicates series, but it's the only one I've read so far!

I cannot tell you how many times I’ve reread Punk 57. It’s definitely in my top list of books I love. I loved it so much that I immediately read it again after I finished it. Penelope just writes amazing smut...except that one scene towards the end...when they did not use any sort of lube and just went at it. Took me right out for a minute, lmao.

So, I just finished reading Filthy Gods based on this rec video. I read it within a span of two days. Best 48hrs 😂😂😂 it wasn’t all that, but I think I liked that. I think you'd like His Alpha. I'm not sure if it would be categorized as "romance," but it's a werewolf story where two high ranking werewolves who are best friends (both male) get mated and one is disgusted at the fact. It's really dark, and it isn't the first in the series, but it just sounds like something you would like. I think if you like something really really dark you can look at the other books by Rachelle Mills (Grey's Tribute and Fin's Claim), but it's a lot to take in and idk if I like it myself lol.

Heyoooo, got an enemies to lovers rec for you that is newish on KU: Love According to Science by Claire Kingsley. This is so up your alley. It’s so darn good and hoooot.

I'm not a big fan of the conglomerate that is Amazon, but KU does get a bad rep for having mostly 'crap' books (and it is not the fairest for many of its authors) so it's great to see some specific KU recs. I too have read some fantastic KU books so am always pleased to see good ones rec'd. TFS :) PS If you (or anyone!) fancy something hilarious and ridiculously fun and that's a quick read try Going Nowhere by Lena North. It's about Kitty, a half-witch/half-werewolf with a unicorn shifter for a BFF and a total hoot of a grandma. It isn't KU but seems to be permanently free.

Thanks for the recs. 🌻 I don’t have a favorite true enemies to lovers romance book yet. Syncopation by Anna Zabo is great but it’s more of a one sided rivalry since high school situation. One of the main characters is aromatic and pansexual which was nice to see represented. I mainly just read fanfic when I want an enemies to lovers dynamic though.

I would recommend "Lost Boys" by Eva Ashwood falls more into the bully romance side of things though and while not enemies to lovers I would recommend reading the "Fog City" series by Layla Reyne! They're both available on KU
