This is my favorite trope too and its soooo underrated. But like..friends with unrequited feelings and a slow burn? It's the best. I added a few of these to my running tbr and Leo Loves Aries sounds so good!! I might just add it to my October tbr. Thanks Chan :)

Friends to lovers is literally overhated and lowkey underrated 😤😩 like it literally has combinations of different other tropes sometimes like mutual pinning and opposites attract and not to mention if written well. It’s a *chefs kiss*

I love Dear Aaron so so so much! My other favorite besides Wall of Winnipeg and Me. I know some people were put off with the first half of the book being in email and texting format, but I thought it was well executed and developed!

Fake dating would have to be my all-time favorite romantic trope, but I also love friends to lovers as long as we are able to feel that mutual attraction, but we can also see that the main leads are actually friends and not just two people attracted to each other, you know what I mean? There's a basis or good foundation for this budding romance.

ugh mutual pining is so good. I think Alisha Rai’s Forbidden Hearts series does it well. The second book is the only one I’d consider friends to lovers though. I’d love to see some paranormal recs. There’s so many on ku and I’ve only found a few that I’ve liked.
