Not all Form 4s are being approved in a week. I certified an eForm 4 on 2/24/24 and it is still pending. Just trying to temper expectations.

I have this can, used with a KAK down vent BCG and taller shelf CH (Griffin)... quite happy with it. Not velos LBP happy (with respect to gas), but quite happy. Thx for review as always-

You are going to enjoy the Sonus 9, we tested it against the DA Wolfman on Scorpion and MP5K and have not picked up any difference in sound out of both guns swapping cans back and forth between two guns. Tested with 115 bulk ammo and 150 Syn and 160 subsonic reloads... Sonus 9 is fantastic, you are going to enjoy it. Just to mention the wipe was gone after about 5-6 shots so all the shooting was without the wipe after that... honestly, made very little difference to my ears, but your results may vary.

Cyclical rate increase and ejection pattern still says it's a high back pressure can. But for $700, it's probably a decent can.

They had these in stock over at silencer shop (fde version) but quickly sold out. im super glad i ordered one and cant wait to get it. my only complaint is purely aesthetic, i wish the front cap was in fde color as well as the id ring. please energetic armament, if youre reading this, please match the colors for the fde version.

It looks like this might be a better Can then the YHM T3 in the price ranges. Whats your thoughts between the two T3 vs Ferox? Also, I think the backyard range you always used sounded better for the videos! I'm guessing due to a smaller space. Your sound was always better than any other channel. Its as close to the real sound as it gets. Thanks for the video

A little late here, but I own both. The T3 is quieter, the Ferox has a deeper tone. I don't notice any more gas to face with one over the other. Both are a little gassy on my Centurion 10.3, Microbest chrome BCG, and Radian Raptor LT. The T3 is the clear winner to me based on price, sound, and the inconel blast baffle. The downside with the YHM is you void the warranty if you don't use a YHM mounting system. But the SRX system is great. The Ferox serial number ring and turnaround time for any work is awesome, though.

It is drastically reduced compared to the bare muzzle. M193 is basically a “worst case scenario” as far as muzzle flash goes on short barrels as it doesn’t contain any flash retardant.

The arx is LOUD. I mean really LOUD. I would avoid it. I've shot one next to a Sandman k on a 10.5 556. The arx had better flash suppression. That's it. It was louder than a Sandman K.

Really don't need inconel here. We did extensive development testing using a MK18 and this silencer exceeded our design goals. Inconel is very heavy vs. its tensile strength and is quite expensive both from a raw material and manufacturing standpoint. We offer a lifetime warranty and will re-core your Ferox shoudl you ever wear it out. Most warranty work is turned around same-day due to our patented serial ID ring. No one in the industry offers a better warranty!

We don't ship this with a wipe cap as this is really geared towards 5.56 SBR's which don't gain much by using a wipe. That being said it does use the same cap mount thread as the Vox although 'technically per ATF BS' you can't legally add a wipe to this silencer as it did not originally ship with a wipe cap.

Quick question and not sure if you can answer, but do you know why they changed materials on their can. I think the Vox was c300 maraging nickel (nasa Metal) and this can is h900 steel (right?). Their website shows higher strength with the c300 NASA metal. And costs seem about the same. Was just curious, since I remember your original Vox review from a few yrs ago and I've never heard of another company using the c300 alloy.

We make some silencers (Vox series) with the C300 maraging super alloy. For this design we didn't need the extreme pressure capabilities of that very expensive material and were able to engineer a weight/performance optimized silencer with 17-4SS. This allows us to sell the Ferox at a more competative price point without sacrificing capabilities.

They already released the ARX as their expensive C300 5.56 suppressor so this appears to be a budget stainless steel option for people that didn't want to shell out the cash for super alloy.
