Oh the back bend half split....for some reason my knees do not like that. I had no clue I had sensitive knees. Perhaps I am doing it wrong? I a small person, not a lot of weight on my knees and they never hurt. But that pose is super uncomfortable.

Hey Tabitha, I think with that one there is a bit more weight than usual going through that knee.... You might just be hitting a sensitive spot. I would pad up with a blanket or fold over your mat so it's double thickness under the knee :) Hope that helps a bit! x x x
