Being a workaholic is fun as long as you love what you do. The other side of it, having to show up to a job you dread every single day is soul-crushing
@degonas12 жыл бұрын
I am experiencing this right now. As I am meditating on why my energy levels are rather low during the week - I am coming to the conclusion that I am really dreading my work. Earning well and having a status somewhat is what's keeping me there. Not having a real alternative currently. But I am on it - working on finding an alternative.
@imoretullv2432 жыл бұрын
Yeah sure, but when I look back at my life, I only remember the sweet memories, the friends, the travel, life experiences, climbing mountains, deep conversations, wisdom, love making session with sweet ladies. Where is hustle in all of this? WHY are you a workaholic besides just keeping busy? In other words, if you had infinite money, what would you actually do? And don't say invest in this money to make more money....
@imoretullv2432 жыл бұрын
@@hannesRSA Fair enough. That's a worthy goal. Only one life left. Time is of the essence. Hopefully one defines the dollar amount when to stop working, but then again some people love the grind for the sake of grind, which is okay.

Also helps when you are paid good money. My salary in France was always 8 euros an hour. Of course the concept of working 12 hours was never attractive to me.

@@imoretullv243if you would not have to worry about being on the street tomorrow if you dont go to work. If money was not a factor, you could work on your spirit. 32:00 - energy is the highest flex - Steven Covey calls these people the "unconsciously competent". They're on top of their game almost naturally (it might come naturally but it can always be developed by mastering your craft, life, self, etc.). But yes, they radiate a positive, productive, competent and kind of powerful energy.
@nateroxx2 жыл бұрын
Your guests have been picked perfectly. I'm enjoying seeing some of the "softer" side of a masculine drive. Like its totally possible to combine grind anc conquer mindset with a more energetic flow type of frame. Interesting to see because the combination of the masculine and feminine is generative by nature.
@husseinwick50112 жыл бұрын
having passion pour into what you are doing everyday and every single hour in your day is so invigorating. i definitely push that sort of mindset to my peers even if most of them are absolutely lazy and not seeing the long term benefits of having the energy to pull through in their lives towards their own passion.
@RareAirTwo42 жыл бұрын
I would agree with your running coach. I consistently run 30+ mile long runs on Sunday, and one thing I do is a total rest day on Saturday, where I dont run or lift at all. The most I'll do is walk the dog and stretch my body out for 30 minutes with a stretch band. I also tend to carb up, but not over consume calories, so I won't be too heavy the next day. Best of luck in your marathon.

At the 24:00 part, Sinbad's talking about up your vibration first, organize next, increase money next, then love. Improving your vibration first is what Tony Robbins calls getting into peak state. A positive, peak state makes a person 10x more effective at everything. So Sinbad's instinct (or whatever it is) to start there first, is right on.

Captain Sinbad or rather Nikhil. Thank you for all of your videos. I'm slowly conquering my 5 year pron addiction. All of your videos help remind me why I'm on this journey, and help show me what I can look forward to. Thank you for changing my life, I thank you, and my family, friends, and future thank you, - Grant W. P.S. In two months when I defeat NNN for the first time in 5 years I'm going to report back on the good news. Edit : I ended up busting twice in November. Not as great as I hoped, but looking back on my past this is still a great step forward. I'm staying on this path even as the month comes to a close. Eventually I'm going to end up getting through a whole month and then some. Thanks for all your support! Have a great rest of your day!

10 days as of right now and I have busted. I am going to update again later, but I'm now aiming to complete the rest of the 20 days anyways. I missed my chance to say that I got the whole month in one go, but that doesn't mean that our work was for nothing. Stay strong brothers. -Grant W.

I am a go getter queen (woman) and enjoy your content. Sometimes I think you might learn a lot from wise women and unconciously you have some misogynistic thoughts. Saying this from a place of love, and an example from this episode: you have a series of interesting (male) guests and then you say ”maybe one time I should bring in a woman to tell what women want”. As if that is an absurd idea, and women are all the same and the topic a woman can talk about are just women. I know you don’t think it like that, but those remarks add up in a life of a woman. Let’s all grow 😊❤

At the core energy is all there is, so learn to strengthen and cultivate it within yourself. Why telling people your business or goals is not the best move. Tell some if you feel but keep it general if people ask. Like I'm just trying to improve a few things, etc. Or just trying to stay busy. Deepak Chopra said in his book the 7 Spiritual Laws of Success to only share goals with people closely bonded with you and have the exact same goals. You keep things like neg Vibes and jealousy away More so.

Funny how relative everything. Why flex in the first place? Why hustle your whole life? Not disagreeing, just asking a simple question. This trend of never ending improvement is almost a fad for now. Like brainwashed robots, from morning to night, journaling, affirmations, million is not enough, two million, then 3, then more goals, tunnel vision, more success and validation, self improvement. Also this convo is missing a core piece and this is personality trait. Some require social and material validation (almost a genetic trait), whereas others seek discovery like a scientist or craft of a something, whereas others seek experience for the sake of life experience outside of social constructs (like me), and the spiritual guru person, the teacher, the wise sage wearing nothing but torn clothing.
