What do you mean by momentum space and how to do represent of position vector operator in the momentum space?
@Jehannum2000
@Jehannum2000 3 жыл бұрын
Imagine all possible values of momentum arranged in a space - like books in a library. You could then specify a certain momentum by using a vector to point to a certain 'book'. The library is called 'momentum space'. It's an abstract vector space, not necessarily limited to 3 dimensions.

Protons are not easily made to flow(because of their mass), hence it is the flow of electrons that causes flow of charge.
@qualquan
@qualquan Ай бұрын
He called photon as having zero mass instead of zero REST mass. Energetic photons in flight are NOT massless and their relativistic or effective mass "m" is easily calculated by m= E/C^2. Then a gamma photon mass is about the same as an electron's rest mass. But he made a good point that for highly energetic electrons the REST Mass energy can be ignored as for photons and the Electron KE equation becomes the same as for a photon's KE=pC or gamma*mo*C^2 or hf meaning that velocity of very highly energetic electrons gets very close to C along with much increased relativistic mass. Now he failed to explain WHY one cannot use the KE= mV^/2 in such highly energetic electrons. Its because the increase in mV is no longer linear. He tends to give rules of thumb but not the logic behind them. I think he has memorized those rules but may not know the logic behind them

Let us assume that two persons are in train . According to 2nd person's frame reference 1st personis at rest.The x person who is on platform seeing the 1st person with respect with train he think that he is in motion because 1st person is moving with train compartment. What is the answer for this.The main thing whether the person is in rest or in motion?
@sakshamsaxena6304
@sakshamsaxena6304 4 жыл бұрын
There is no "absolute motion" in physics. Motion is always defined based on the Frame of reference and as there is no "Absolute Frame of reference", so we cannot define absolute motion, Hence motion is always based on the observer and hence we cannot say if the person on the train is at rest or in motion, as his motion will depend on the observer.

Namaskar sir🙏🏻 I'm an 11th grade student and I have co-related some theories of great scientists which I have studied but I'm not sure whether I'm right or not but I'd like to present it here to you! Hope u see my comment.. so, first of all, we know that E=mc² therefore E∝m...[1] we also know that E∝frequency(ν)...[2] Therefore, from 1&2 we get to know that m∝ν(f) but we also know that for macroscopic bodies the wave character is diminished so m should be inversely proportional to frequency... But I just proved it directly proportional.. I also have a 2nd method.. from De Broglie's eqⁿ.... λ=h/mv (λ∝1/m)....[3] And from wave eqⁿ..... v=λf =>v/f=λ (λ∝1/f).....[4] Therefore from 3&4.. m∝f As we increase mass, frequency should also increase...

If a pcl have mass zero then how we can say it is pcl I mean what is the mass of photon. Is it exists or not or photon is a imaginary pcl
@SanojKumar-zv3nq
@SanojKumar-zv3nq 6 жыл бұрын
Photon is a particle of quantum mechanics or physics.. Don't try to understand it the view of classical mechanics.. Both need completely different understanding. Just assume photon as a packet of energy.. Saying again don't understand photon with classical approach of physics.. In classical physics every partical has mass but in quantum physics not..
@aadilkhan9074

My question is simple that photon exists or not like electron have mass and charge why photon have no mass
@SanojKumar-zv3nq
@SanojKumar-zv3nq 6 жыл бұрын
@@aadilkhan9074 in my understanding photons come in to picture only when we consider the partical nature of light as u know light has dual nature.. When we talk about the wave nature of light then we simply don't talk about photons.. So as I understand photons exist when explain photoelectric effects and not when we explain interference of light or dispersion of light..
@SanojKumar-zv3nq
@SanojKumar-zv3nq 6 жыл бұрын
And mass for photons is also defined which is known as effective mass its different for different colours of light.. It's the rest mass which is zero not the effective mass.. Again its quantum mechanics one great scientist said if someone says he fully understands quantum mechanics he is lying.. It's weird world of quantum mechanics.. Above answers r given by my understanding.. U may have different opinion.. Plz let me know if u have any..
